hey first time leaser here trying to get some information. contacted a few dealers and waiting for them to get back to me with number. I will be looking to sign a deal at the end of the month. I am interested the specs below. any help would be greats.

2016 q50 3.0t sport AWD, premium plus package, 39/15k in the NYC area. also it is the 300HP version i'm interested in and not the 400HP

forgot to add, I intend to only pay taxes, bank/delivery fee and first month up front. will not be making a down payment. what will I be looking at for a monthly payment?

.00005 and 47% for 39/15 on the 3.0t Sport AWD.

Need to know the MSRP and selling price to calculate a payment.

nothing is wrong with it, I just don't need that much power, but if the dealer gives me a good deal I wont ignore it.

can I have the MF and residual for the specs above? thanks

Based on everything I've learned here, it looks like my starting deal based off the November lease special is not looking like such a "special" deal after all. Or is it? Can I please have some feedback on the following?

    2016 3.0t Red Sport (RWD)
    MSRP: $48,855
    Factory invoice: $45,799
Lease advertised as $399/mo, 39 months, 10k miles.
Pricing excludes taxes, title & license fees.

    Capitalized Cost: $42,474
Initial payment (Cap Reduction): $3,499 ($2,400 down, $699 Acquisition Fee, $399 1st month payment)
    .00016 MF, 56% Res. @ 39/10k ($0.25/mile over 10k)
Disposition Fee at end of lease estimated at $400

    Cap additions: $1,523*
    • Bank Fee estimated at $575
    • Doc Fee estimated at $199
    • License Fee estimated at $50
    • Title Fee* is ???
    • No security deposit.
Florida auto lease tax: 6% ($209.94 rolled into Lease)

My lease software is showing the following:

    Payment: $384.45
Cash Due at Drive Off: $3,499
    Residual: $27,358.80
    Total Cost: $18,611.05

    Thanks!

Acquisition fee = bank fee (and, it's $700), so there aren't two fees.
Better check with the dealer on the Doc fee. In FL, they are known for really high amounts.
Can't help you with title/license fees, but likely $200 or less in FL.

Kyfdx, thanks for the input. I made a couple corrections...definately seemed low on the payments. Here is the current deal that I think is national, not just this dealer:

    LEASE DEAL:
    2016 Q50 Red Sport 400
    $399/MONTH LEASE FOR 39 MONTHS
For well qualified lessees. Excludes, taxes, title, license and options. Offer expires at the end of the month.

    FINE PRINT:
Excludes, taxes, title & license. Retailer participation required.
$3,499 initial payment required at consummation (includes $3,100 consumer down payment, $399 first month payment).
2016 Q50 Red Sport 400 subject to availability to well-qualified customers who finance their lease through INFINITI Financial Services. Subject to credit approval.
    MSRP $48,855 includes destination charge.
Net capitalized cost of $42,474 includes a $700 non-refundable acquisition fee.
Retailer contribution may affect actual price set by retailer.
Monthly payments total $15,561. Plus tax, or pay excess wear & use plus $0.25/mile for mileage over 10,000 miles/year. Lessee is responsible for maintenance and repairs.
Disposition fee due at termination of lease.
Prices plus, tax, tag, license and $699 dealer fee.
    No security deposit required.
Must take delivery from new retailer stock. See participating retailer for details. Offer ends 01/03/2017.

With Cap Reduction of $3,499 (Down payment + $399 first month payment), and the following Cap Additions:

    $700 Bank (Aquisition) Fee
    $225 Title Fee (Florida)
    $0 Security Deposit
    $609 Doc Fee (Florida avg)
    $100 License Fee (random guess)
$699 Dealer Fee (per lease ad)
    TOTAL: $2,333

Payment is $390.78. That just seems too good to be true.

Dealer fee = doc fee.. you won't have both.
CAP reduction in your example is just $3100. Paying the first payment doesn't count as CAP reduction.

I have a question. I have a friend who is the sales manager of my local Infiniti dealer. I am looking to lease a 2017 Q50 Red Sport AWD with Premium Plus Package, MSRP is around $54,350. He gave me a monthly lease price of $548 per month which includes taxes and fees and no money down except my first payment. When I take the November residual you posted above and do my own math without even knowing the Cap Cost, can I roughly figure it out? I live in Long Island, NY. The info I have is as follows:

    MSRP: $54,350
    Residual: 54%
    MF: .00003
    Lease: 39 months
    Mileage: 12,000

Say he gave me a gross cap cost of around $48,000 with all taxes and fees included,is this a good deal or do you think I can get a better deal elsewhere? I will find out the cap cost when I go back in to see him but I was just curious to find out of that was a deal or should I shop around more. I don't plan on buying the car after the lease ends. Thanks.

As for my last post I think I made a mistake. Residual is based off the MSRP correct? I can't edit my last post for 4 hours but I will when it lets me.

Those lease variables are on a 2016 model, not 2017. (and, we are in the 2016 discussion).

I'm going to guess that $48K is just the selling price, and not the adjusted CAP (with fees and taxes), as that would result in a payment of around $480/mo., not $548/mo.

To get to $548/mo, you need a CAP of about $50,800. Again, this is on a 2016 model.

So, ask him for the details. But, in the big picture, $548/mo, with just $548 due at signing is a pretty good payment for this vehicle.

    Dear Moderator,

Walking into a dealership, I didn't think about the 2016 models. Foolish me... I'm in New Jersey.

What is the MF and residual for a 2016 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport AWD for 24 months, 10,000 miles.

Likewise, with 36 months, 10,000 miles.

And lastly, with 39 months, 10,000 miles.

Isn't there lease cash available too? and/or dealer cash?

    Thanks.

Leased a 2016 Q50 3.0t today. Chicago area. MSRP 52,395 including destination charges. Started shopping about a week ago on 11/23. TruCar gave me pricing just less than 9k off, but dealers sent me "certificates" with 6.2 - 6.7k off. I went in asking for 10k off to purchase. No dice. But local guys gave me 10k off for Leasing. I knew about the leasing cash, and after lot of haggling settled at 12k off for Leasing. Gave up on pushing for the last couple of 100 bucks.

So the deal was agreed upon pricing of 40,395 for MSRP of 52,395. 39 month / 10k / 0.00005 MF. 26,197.50 residual. 1161 in sales tax, 700 acquision fee + TTL. 805.45 out the door including first months payment. Remaining 38 monthly payment of 415.18 per month all inclusive.

Could have been a bit better perhaps, but I think it was okay. HTH

GAP Insurance follow up question: It appears cars leased from IFS has built in GAP insurance. That is what the dealer also told me. Is this written somewhere? I need to know so I am not wasting money on GAP insurance from my insurance. Thanks!

Nevermind: It is covered by IFS. Found a post: http://g35driver.com/forums/buying-selling-leasing-discussion/157381-my-lease-through-infiniti.html#post1975794 Sure enough, the same language is there in my contract section 26. Nice!

HTH

$12K off sticker is a great discount.

    Congrats and enjoy the car!

Not a bad price. Did you pay the tax, acquisition fee and TTL up front or did you roll it into the lease? If you rolled it in that's a great deal!

Thanks! Tax & acquisition fee was rolled in. I paid 805.45 out the door, out of which 415,18 was first month's payment. So I paid only 390.27. Registration fee 196 + doc fee 169.27 + ERT fee 25 = 390.27. Rest all is rolled in the lease of 415.18 per month.

I really appreciate all the info I found here, and a bunch of deals I saw posted here helped me tremendously. Knowledge = Power. Thanks all!

    Red Sport RWD: 39/10
    Red Sport RWD: 39/12
    Premium RWD: 39/10
    Premium RDW: 39/12.

What's the depreciation difference if I chose to go with AWD?

Not sure if the lease cash expired on 11/30 or if it is still valid. But here is my "wild speculation". I took infiniti's lease ad and back calculated to arrive at advertised monthly payment.

The advertised numbers work out if the car is discounted $6950. But the ad also says "dealer contribution required". So I am definitely not saying $6950 is the lease incentive. I am saying for the advertised lease deal, the total of "dealer contribution" + "lease incentive" = 6950. I will leave it to your imagination how much each of those 2 components are. For my deal, "dealer contribution" + "lease incentive" was 12,000 on a 52,395 sticker. It definitely wouldn't have been 12,000 off for a 42,805 sticker (Thinking % off from sticker). So speculate away.

Edit: Some more data points. My dealer won't sell the car for $9k off, but did lease for $12k off. So lease cash is at lease $3k+. I am betting it is / was around $5k. FWIW, another dealer told me lease cash was $5.7k (have email). Another dealer told me 4.7k / 5.2k (can't remember which - can't find email). I will not post which dealers.

Thanks.

Today I got a quote from another dealership for a 2016 Red Sport AWD (MSRP $54,320) with Premium Plus package for $449/month, 12,000 miles with nothing down but DMV and first months payment. Do you think I should jump on this deal? I don't plan on buying the car after the lease is up.

    Hi Michaell, kyfdx

Dealer is offering me $400 a month, with 1000 out of pocket for a 2016 Q50 premium plus package. Illinois taxes so I believe 9.5%. MSRP $45,395. I know this deal does not list the selling price, fees, MF and residual. But assuming these factors are what they are supposed to be, do you think this is a good deal? Any help would be highly appreciated.
