I'd pass on the pre-paid maintenance - $1200 seems expensive.

I don't know what that other charge is - have you asked the dealer for clarification?

The Service contract is likely a charge for wheel/tire insurance, or something like that. I'd work on getting rid of that.

I got the base MF, 0.00072, as you told me. This is the best MF I can get, right? Autopay and MSD won’t make MF lower, right?

For the same 2017 car, are the residuals different in end of 2016 and 2017? I meant, for 2017 car, it’s already one year old, even no one drive it. For 3y lease, we should count it as 4 year, so the residual should be lower, right?

For a 2017 car, if I get 20% off, it almost cover most of the first year depreciation, so I will only pay much less for 1 or 2 year leasing, if dealer allows, right? Just wondering whether dealer will do 1 or 2 year leasing for a big discounted car or not. Thanks.

Hi. I am in Northern California, trying to lease a service loaner with about 4k miles. Is the MF 0.00102 / 0.00032 with 10 MSD, and 10k/24 mo residual is 65% ? Someone told me that the residual on service loaners is less, more like 61 - 62 % - is this correct? Thanks.

I'd guess the VPP is Vehicle Protection Plan, and it's probably insurance against lease end wear and tear charges. But, it could be just about anything. Those are usually good deals.. for the insurance company and dealer.

Add 2% for 12K

Subtract 1% from the residual for RWD, and the MF is .00102
