For those who need to calculate loaner car residuals on MB vehicles...

(1) Loaner must have under 10,000 miles

(2) Start with the base residual value for the term and mileage of the trim of vehicle you are looking at.

(3) Calculate the residual adjustment by taking the mileage of the vehicle over 3000 miles and multiplying it by $.20/mile. Subtract that amount from the new car residual. 

So for example, on a loaner 2017 C300 Sport 4Matic with MSRP $54,150 and 5640 miles on a 24/10 lease. 

New car residual: 66% or $35,739
Mileage Adjustment: $528 ((5640 miles - 3000) x $.20)
Effective Residual: $35,211 ($35,739-$528)

I agree with the max 10 @ .00007 reduction each, but the size of each security deposit is the monthly payment rounded up to the next highest $25.

As an FYI, MBFS calculates payment for MSDs on the base payment after tax BEFORE MSDs are applied.

Is there an adjustment to the MF for European delivery?
What is the residual adjustment for demo miles?
Is the payment before or after MSD used to determine the size of each MSD?

Varies by brand, and I've got a lot of blanks to fill out.

MB doesn't deduct for demo miles until 3000 are on the clock.

After that, .20/mile.

In this case, $220 deducted from the calculated residual.

Also, I was offered 3000 down 493 a month (all in - taxes, registration etc) for a car with a sticker price of 56K. Wanted to get a sense of whether its a fair to good deal.
