    What are these so called "specials" on Acadias?
    Is it a certain amount that they allow the dealer to take off.?
    Can the dealer discount more?
    And one last question.

    GM is running some pretty big discount promotions, but they are only valid if you buy, not lease.

    Any lease rebates?

    Any thoughts if an Infiniti QX60 would lease better? Both Acadia Limited and QX60 are the right size but looking for best lease between them.

    Hi All, I am living in NJ and the dealer offered me $437 for an Acadia stl-2 the MSRP is $48,000. They said they would drop it by $3000 dollars. They wanted us to do tax, fees and first months payment around $3100. Is this a good deal?

    Must be a much bigger discount than that, or some serious rebates... At $48K MSRP and $46K CAP cost, I get $530/mo.

    Do you think it is possible to lease an Acadia Denali  with an MSRP of 50,000 for $450 with paying for taxes and fees on a 36 or 39 month lease in NJ? On there site they marked it down to 48,410 already.

    On the SLT above, you'd be at about $500/mo, if you rolled in taxes and fees, given the deal you've been quoted. A higher MSRP unit is going to be proportionately more expensive.

They told me that this is as good as they can do today but after as I was leaving they told me they would call me on Thursday and there might be dealer deals on the Denali of this car.  This is in NJ.

    Okay.... with $1000 upfront, the payment would go up to about $548/mo. That's the way I would structure it.

    Large downpayments can be at risk, if the vehicle is totaled because of accident/theft, early in the lease.
    Also, it's always good to focus on the actual monthly cost, when renting a vehicle.

    The only money due from you is the first payment; the rest of the up front money is a $1500 rebate.

    The math on the worksheet is correct, with an 8.1% sales tax rate.

    Thanks. what was throwing me was the cap fees. They capped my DMV fees of $774. I was getting a payment of $495 without them capped. I clarified this with them and then drove to Tucson (I'm in Phx) to get this awesome deal. Have to love a dealer that needs to sell cars at the end of the month to make some #'s.

    I'm pretty new to this so if anyone can advise me if this all seems right it would be much appreciated. Denali, AWD, 36/12. I confirmed .00119 MF/64% is what they are using. They are being very stingy on my trade as it has a new recall without a resolution; according to them, a 3rd party would be buying it as they cannot for liability. The trade is a lease so they said I don't get the tax credit.

    MSRP $51,185
    Sale $48,685

    Trade $24,000
    Owed $24,887

    Customer cash + first payment $2,000
    Rebates $2,700

    TX tax 6.25%
    Aq fee $595
    Title/Reg $500 roughly

    Their payment on this is $559, but after over a dozen calculators and doing it manually, I get a bunch of results between $450-515...all highly dependent on how the gross/net capitalized cost is calculated and where the negative equity and rebates are put. The tax is rolled into the payments, not being paid cash. I haven't gotten any results close to their payment, which is what bothers me.
