Thanks. What I am trying to verifiy is if this is a good deal. Based on other quotes on this forum, it seems to be. Standard Denali package plus the technology package for just under $46k, no money down, and $496 per month for a 36mo./15k miles lease. Just trying to confirm good or bad.

We don't track selling prices - if you're comfortable with the selling price, everything else looks good.

APR = 4.9% via GMC, required to make 4 payments then can move note to preferred bank

Payment = $562 / Month

LEASE:
Price = $30,764

LEASE EARLY TRADE IN:
Normal $0.25 / mile overage to be paid by me

What is the MSRP for the lease?

The remaining payments are adding about $87/mo to the lease payment.

What does the $2000 at signing cover?

Michaell, The MSRP of the car is $35,870. $2K covers TT&L + I would assume and small amount to cover part of the hedge on the remaining payments. 7 payments left =3,149. On lease, standard incentives soak some of the remaining payments up I presume.

If $30,764 is the negotiated price, ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is, and how they got to that number from the selling price.

With those prices, I get $462/mo for 39 months, or $495/mo for 36 months - your original post doesn't mention the lease term.

I believe the tax rate for leases in VA is 4.1%. It is assessed against the entire selling price of the car, but you can choose to add that amount to the selling price and pay it over the entire lease term.

That is our recommendation, by the way. If the car is stolen or totaled, you will likely not get a refund of the pre-paid, but unused, sales tax.

Check with a different dealer and see if you get different numbers.
