Just left the dealership without taking this offer. I think there were still some dollars on the dealer side. Thoughts? Ideas? Or should I be happy because I did slightly better than 1% of MSRP?

TX assesses sales tax against the entire selling price, which drives up your lease payment considerably.

That said, $600 is not a very big discount for an outgoing model year vehicle. Use the "make / model / year" pull downs to link to the price tools.

And, get multiple dealers involved to earn your business.

What is the MSRP?

When you ask for the money factor and they won't tell you? Tell them that's a deal breaker. Would you sign for a loan, if they wouldn't tell you the interest rate?

I get $420/mo.+tax, using just the selling price.

But, rebates are taxable, plus an acquisition fee, etc, etc.
Ask them for the adjusted CAP cost and total amount due at signing.
And, insist on the money factor.

Yes.. it's a good payment.

For $700, I'd skip the smart lease. What happens if you need tires four months before the lease is up? Drive on bald tires, because they are free at the end? I'd rather have the money in my pocket for any possible charges.

Actually, it's 63% / 57% for the SLE trims.

SLT1 is 64% / 58%

The SLT1 appears to have 4000 in bonus cash currently, at least in my region. Is that something that can be applied to a lease? I don't see any restrictions on it.

I don't have the answer to that, but I'll guess that it is incompatible with the GM Financial lease program.
But, check with the dealer.

I had my deal above all set, get to the dealership and they had just realized the car was being driven by a manager. It has 3600 miles on it. The manager offered to buy those miles upfront. To me this is a used vehicle now. It’s the only 2017 around that’s a 7 passenger so we really want it. But aside from buying the mileage, I don’t feel like the cap cost for one with 3600 miles should be the same as one with 0 miles. I have a good deal from them so wondering if I should be asking for more after finding this out.

If the dealership is absorbing the cost of the miles, and it's a lease.... then, if it's a good deal, it's a good deal.

24/15 - .00040 and 65%
36/15 - .00093 and 59%

Payment is based largely on the amount of discount you can get. As an employee, that should be pretty big.
