MSRP $52,110. Agreed price $49,124 - $4,000 Rebate = $45,124.

Acquisition Fee $645, Govt. Fees $467.75
Taxes $1,952.66. (local rate 7.75%)

Monthly payment $621.45 including taxes.

I get $565/mo, tax included. CA taxes the monthly payment.

Are you paying the acquisition and gov't fees up front, or adding them into the selling price?

Umm, interesting Michaell. Fees: Aq. Fee $645, Govt. $467.75, Doc. $80 = Total $1192.75, plus the tax $1,952.66.. Grand Total $3145.41. With $1200 down payment apparently comes out at $589.48.

Yes, tax on the incentive is common. As well as the fees, which is why we suggest you roll those into the monthly payment.

IL taxes on the sum total of pre-tax payments, plus any taxable amounts paid upfront. They collect the tax upfront. You can pay it upfront, or roll it into the CAP cost.
