The longer you wait, the more you risk not getting the color / options / equipment you want. Inventory is shrinking every day.

What's the MF and residual value for 10k/36 for 430i and 440i xdrive? Any incentives at this moment? Can I still put down 7 MSD to cut down MF by 0.00007 for each MSD? Thank you!

I'm currently working on this deal in Florida (6% tax)
let me know what you think

    2017 430i coupe (Demo) with 4500 mi
MF 0.00151 / RESIDUAL 58.74% (I couldn't get the full 60% since they had to adjust it for the miles on it)

I agree with the numbers on the worksheet.

Why put up $1995 of your own cash? That money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

agreed - just wanted your opinion on the deal

It's not a bad deal. If you amortize the upfront, it's $427/mo, with just first payment due at signing.

    My offer would be:
$37070 selling price ($930 less than their offer)
    $925 acq.fee
    $699 doc fee (shewwwww)
$498.50 rolled fees ($180 cap red tax on rebate + $318.50 license fees)
    - $3000 rebate

    $36192.50 adjusted CAP

    $283.42 depreciation
    $93.89 rent charge
    $22.64 tax
    $399.95 payment
    $399.95 due at signing.

I probably wouldn't let it get away for $427/mo, with $427 due at signing, but I'd shoot for better.

They really shouldn't roll the first payment into the CAP cost, then use your whole amount upfront as CAP cost reduction.... .that causes the first payment to be taxed twice. Also, I might pay the license fees upfront, as well, so those don't get taxed.

But, $399.95 with $399.95 due at signing is pretty.. lol

I already made them an offer of $37,000 and they did not accept it... they will not go below $38,000
they told me they would rather sell it at auction...lol

so... that being said... if I still wanted to drive off with only the first payment
(taxes on the rolled fees are only about $30 for the life of the lease, which is less than a buck a month and I don't have to front all the fees)

    $38000 selling price
    $925 acq. fee
    $699 doc fee
$498.50 rolled fees ($180 cap red tax on rebate + $318.50 license fees)
    - $3000 rebate

    $37122.50 adjusted CAP

    payment is $429 - right?

let me know - I don't want it to go away

2017 440i, MSRP $62580, didn't ask for selling price or MF, quoted $650 (7.25% tax and fees included). 36 mos, 15k, $0 down, $0 out of pocket. Current lease have 5 payments left, dealer take 2, BMW pays last 3; on the fence b/c I'm at 31k/45k miles allowance on my current lease... thoughts?!

Looks like you are at 31K miles after 31 months?
If your usage is likely to stay the same, go with 12K/yr, next time. That will save you $35/mo.+tax on the payment.

Thank you! The dealer is saying the residual % goes down if the car has over 5,000 miles. The car has 8,500. Here's my calculation:

    MSRP $61,395
    Residual (12k) 0.6
    Base Residual $36,837
    Mileage 8,500
    Mileage Deduction $2,125
    Residual $34,712

Yes, demo cars are subject to both a residual % reduction and a per mile deduction on the standard residual.

With 8500 miles, first subtract 6% from the posted residual (54%), then the $2125 mileage deduction.

Confirm the above with your dealer, but it will result in a much higher lease payment than on a car with 0 miles. The idea is that you should obtain a much bigger discount from sticker than a new car, else why lease a demo?

Thank you. What is the threshold for the additional 6% reduction? Should I target exec demo vehicles with <5000 Miles?

Thank you Michaell. They are also including the 3k lease credit on top of those numbers. From reading the thread seems like I should be able to under 700 for payments with tax.

Target 7% off sticker, maybe more, before applying the incentives

What's the MF and RV for 2017 440i xDrive GC? I came across this BMW company car with 18,000 miles on it, quoted at 43,942 (MSRP 58,095). I wonder what's the lowest monthly payment I could get with a 36/10k term with zero down? (location Chicago IL). Or I should not even consider it given the higher mileage? Thanks.

If it's been titled, it would go through the CPO lease program, which I have no information about.

If it's new, you wouldn't want to lease it with that many miles on it....

I am told it's never been titled. What's the exact reason that I wouldn't want to lease it? Is it because of the lowered RV%? With the current info what monthly payment amount would you get?

The adjusted RV will absolutely kill you - 6% lower than standard, plus .25/mile.

But, let's do the math ....

    .00152 and 58%

    Less 6% and $4500

    $527/mo plus tax

You live in the city of Chicago? If so, your total tax rate between the city and state is something like 17% - total is roughly $617/mo

You could probably lease one with close to 0 miles on it for not much more, frankly.

Has the dealer given you any idea how the warranty would work?

They basically told me I'd have full coverage of the warranty till January 2021 or 50k miles, and since it has never been privately titled I have the full maintenance included.

I am completely new to leasing a car so not sure what they told me make sense or not. They just told me they will have a way to get me a lease on this vehicle so will wait to see what number they come back with.

I'm not sure I'd do something this complicated your first time out. And, with 18,000 miles on the car, you'd only have 32,000 miles of coverage. Though, I suppose you only plan to put 30,000 miles on the car in the lease term.
