I have a more generic question. I'm considering getting this lease as my current MB lease is up. I'm being told that the dealership can't negotiate in the price of extra mileage. That seems to take away the advantage of sticking with the same brand. What's your experiences with MB lease turn ins?

Are you saying your current lease is over mileage? You'll have to address it somehow.

I just traded in a car that was about 4000 miles over the limit on a new lease but from a different brand. The dealer and I split the difference of the costs (I had 2 payments left, and some damage to the rear bumper).

Be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF. Then, reach out to other dealers

Some folks have reported the cost being added to the MSRP, which would residualize it. No definitive answer, though.

It does not change the residual like it does for Audi, however.

This is CA, right? If so, the tax amount is wrong. CA taxes the monthly payment on a lease, not the selling price.

What is the MSRP?

Also, ask what the cash down covers, in detail.

With that information, we can run the numbers and tell you in the MF is marked up, or not.

.00169 MF is correct, but the 36/12 residual is 59%, not 56%.
4Matic numbers are .00165 MF and 59% residual.
That's not much of a discount, given the $600 dealer fee.
You'll have to ask the dealer if they can residualize the maintenance. Why buy a 4 year plan for a 3 year lease?
Also, with MSDs. Some dealers say the MSDs can only be applied against the Standard MF (around .00210).
Don't have the specifics on the discount per SD.
This document doesn't disclose the adjusted CAP cost, and doesn't mention sales tax or the acquisition fee.

You are not getting any discount from sticker?

If the MSRP is indeed the selling price, I get $909/mo before tax. That assumes you pay the fees and such up front - if you roll those costs into the lease, the payment goes up.

Awful lot of money for a SUV.
