Also I got the following number:

msrp - 45525$
selling price - 43500$
he agreed for base mf of .00165%
residual - 60%

monthly payment came around: 656$ including tax in CA.

if I put 6 security deposit of 3400$ then it brought down the mf to .00135

is that a good deal? Or am I missing something.

No, it is not a good deal. You can push for much more than that off. I am in CA and on my first call was offered 9% off a 2017.

Good evening - please let me have your thoughts on a 36/10 lease on 2016 GLC rwd with MSRP of $49,020 and selling price of $44,520. Dealer has residual at 28,922 and a $509 doc fee (wow!) and $1095 acq fee. Zero down except for first payment. Payments of $663.58. Seems high. When I do the math at 3.5% money factor I come up with $561. Thanks for your input!

With those prices, I get $545/mo.

Acquisition fee is marked up from $795. MF may be inflated, as well.

Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer - if higher than the selling price, find out what's added.

Michael - Thanks for your quick response and information. Dealer told me gross cap cost is $46,797.68 which is $2277 more than the selling price. I understand the $509 doc fee and $1,095 acq fee adds approximately $1,600 to the selling price but that still leaves in excess of $620 unaccounted for. Will follow up w/dealer in morning but it looks like they aren't disclosing everything. Might be time to find another dealer. Thanks again.

Exactly - if you aren't satisfied with the answer the dealer gives you, the right move is to work with another dealer.

Michael - Dealer tells me on a 2016 rwd in Mississippi the money factor is .00179 and 59% residual. That's a higher MF and lower residual than I see you've stated in previous posts. Are these #s different for a 2016 model year or is the dealer trying to squeeze me some more? Thanks again!

My dealer in Chicago, who we've purchased multiple vehicles from, is saying this is a "hot car" with limited supply right now and can't do much better than $2,000 off of MSRP. My wife likes her salesperson and trusts him, but I'm seeing deals on here for $4-5K off and wonder if things have changed recently.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Do you have the December 2016 rates for the GLC? I'm looking for a standard 36 month lease with 12,000 miles per year. I'm not too particular about the model, preferably one with the highest residual value. If there are different month (33, 39, etc.) leases that offers a better value for the residual please let me know.

Also, are they doing any customer loyalty programs for existing lessees?

Coupe: .00152 MF and 59%/50% residual

Add 1% for 10K/yr.

Doubtful you'll see any incentives on this model.

My dealer put the bank fee of $1095 into the total CAP cost and then my monthly depreciation increased by $30. I think they also charge tax on that $30 part. Can I pay the bank fee/acquisition fee upfront? Which is better?

First, the bank fee is marked up by $300 from the base $795 amount.

If you pay it upfront, you'll also be taxed upfront. You can't get away from the tax. I suggest rolling it in.

The dealer said no one can get the buy rate of 0.00169 and they marked up to 0.00199. How can I bargain?
