As per previous post, would like February residual, money factor and deals on limited 4x4 for 36/15 and 39/15 leases. Shopping in Pennsylvania (philly burbs). Do options matter? If so, considering off-road package and sunroof.

    Thanks!

Curious to get your input on this quote I just got in SoCal. Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Hemi V8 (Trailhawk Luxury Group, Rock Rails, UConnect 8.4 NAV, Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection) MSRP: $52,020 Total Rebates and Incentives: $5750 Total Cap Reduction: $2675 Residual Amount: $29,651.40 (57% Residual) MF: 0.020 36/12k: $535.32 monthly (including taxes of $43.06) Drive off: $1650 (1st month 535.23 + upfront charges(?) $688.89)
The money factor should be .00020. Decimal placement is important. 57% is the correct residual. To hit a pre-tax payment of $492.26, the adjusted CAP cost would have to be about $46,800. How does that square up with your quote? Also, if you have $1650 upfront, you want to know exactly what that money is for.
Thanks! Yes, thanks for clarifying the MF...was sloppy in my typing and missed the decimal point.

That does line up and I'll explore what the upfront breaks down to be.

    Hello,

Do you have February numbers for Limited (4x2) and Overland (4x2) for 36/10 and 39/10?

    Thank You.

    36/10:
LTD: .00009 MF and 57% residual
OVL: .00006 MF and 55% residual

39 month residuals are not good.

    Hi,
The best I got on a 2017 Overland 4x4 MSRP $50,975 was around $45,700 I'd have to check my quote. That's still 10% off sticker. 0 down only first month and DMV fee's for $549 mon. 36/15k. 8% tax included. And they have to get from another dealer 2 hours away. Any thoughts?

Hi, could you please let me know the February - MF and Res. for the Limited 4x4 - 36 month, 10K & 12k leases and any Lease Cash available in the NY area. Also does Chrysler Capital have a return fee? Thanks!
My dealer is showing a $5750 rebate/cash but I think that is with a private bank.

    .00006 and 58% / 57%.

I'm sure there is a termination fee from Chrysler Capital, but I don't see a value.

No incentives that we see from Chrysler.

3rd party banks do have large incentives associated with them.

Looks like a third party lease. We'd suggest rolling the taxes and bank fee into the payment. If the lease ends early, you won't get a refund of the unused portion of those costs.

Relative to MSRP, the payment looks good. It will be higher if you add the taxes and fees into the payment, but you reduce your risk of losing that money.

What is the adjusted cap cost? Ohio taxes the sum of the monthly payments and collects that money up front.

How much is due at signing?

  • Originally, cap cost of 41,325 less 750 rebate. Tax 1137.73. Came up with $499 pmt. got $500 Truecar coupon they accepted. Dealer absorbing $879 up front fees. $0 down for me.  My apologies. I understand the calculations. Getting to the $469 total pmt came verbally over the phone after they initially said $499 pmt and i said no. Guess my question really is, is the payment fair for this vehicle, 3/36 $0 out of pocket?  If you're able to say, much appreciated. Thank you

We only do the calculations. No idea really what that model sells for, or what rebates/incentives are applicable.

$469/mo, with $0 OOP seems very reasonable for that MSRP, though.

With that big rebate, this looks like an independent bank lease. We don't have the numbers for that.

But, if your only out of pocket is the $1400 in trade equity, that looks like a very good payment.

  • Hi first time here.

Looking to lease 2016 gc overland diesel
    42 months
    I live in NH

Do you know what the MF is and residual?

    Are they negotiable?
Does it matter if I buy in NH or a surrounding state? Does the rate and percentage apply to my state of residency?

If so, I'm thinking about buying in Connecticut.

    Thank you for your help!

Hey.  Thank you.  So I'm new to leasing. Are there fixed rates and residual values for each make model year engine?  Are they negotiable?

The numbers are unique to each trim level. And, gas and diesel engines have different numbers.

The residual value is fixed by the bank, but the MF can be marked up by the dealer for extra profit.

Got my initial quote from the dealer --- and I know this isn't the last quote --- just curious as to how much room to expect on the price.

Limited 4x4 w/Nav and Blind Spot Detection

    MSRP: $43975

They showed me $478 with zero due at signing. Residual $25945. Lease through Ally at 7%??

    Thoughts?

    Thx.

We don't have the Ally lease numbers, so can't tell you if that MF is marked up or not.

And, we don't track prices - use the "Make / Model / Year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools

Just got a quote from a dealer but not sure of the money factor as it wasn't listed

    Lease on a 2017 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 - 36 months, 10k miles - In MA

    MSRP: $43,380
    Rebates: $5,750
    Cap Cost: $37,630
    Residual: $26,895.60
    Due at signing: 1st months payment ($447.59) + Doc Fee, Registration and Tax ($504) + Tax (23.06) = $974.65

Total due per month: $447.59 (including tax)

    Seems decent, still shopping around

With those rebates, it's sure to be a 3rd party lease (US Bank or Ally). We don't have their numbers to confirm.

Looks like a solid deal, relative to MSRP.

No way to predict what will happen to the numbers down the road.

If there is a defined pull ahead program where the remaining lease payments are waived, you should look into it. Otherwise, those payments have to be addressed somehow - usually by adding them into your new lease.
