    I think it's a Pegaso (well I know it's a Pegaso) but a ....Z103?

These are curious cars. Complicated, built by a truck manufacturer, unreliable, cranky, ornery, a devil to work on-----and today, quite valuable!

Go figure. The rich must have their toys I guess.

Looks like maybe Spanish plates, I will guess Pegaso

    It's a 1955 Pegaso Z-102B with a Touring body.

It's not hard to find the oldest car, the newest one(s) will be a little harder>

The old timer car looks like a late run Model T.

I see a 56 Chevy in the pic, that might be the newest.

Yeah, there's a parked Chevy convertible hiding behind the blue "shoebox" Ford but I'm not sure if it's '55 or '56... Wait, the door trim is definitely '56 Bel Air, it's behind the doors on '55s.

Is the white over blue Buick parked on the same side a '55 or '56?

On the left just under the restaurant sign, there's a two tone rear section of a 56 Chevy, yellow over brown or green maybe, hard to tell. Way back on the left side of the Model T looks like a 56 Chevy sedan, too, with an off-white upper section. I can't determine the Buick, I would have to look it up.

Good eye on the '56 Chevys. I'm fairly sure the Buick is a '56 as well>

Lots of vehicles but I'm more interested in the face shown on the neon sign for the Sequoyah restaurant. Is that someone's grandma smoking a cigar? :D

Boy, add a pillar to that Buick 2 dr and I'd be looking for Broderick Crawford and Highway Patrol. I like the snapshot of that town and actually remember Cites Service gas stations from way back. Is that a 56 Pontiac and a 56 Mercury on either side of that baby blue Caddy by the gas station sign?

Is that someone's grandma smoking a cigar? nah, I'm thinkin' bad hillbilly teeth!

Not sure about that Merc, could be a '55 or a '56. The Poncho however is very likely a '56.

Wikipedia sez Cities Service became Citgo in 1982.

    That is Sequoyah, a Cherokee.

    Maybe a 1500 Type 3 notchback?

Yup, sold in markets outside the US as the 1965 Volkswagen 1500 Sedan, it's the notchback version of the cars sold here as the VW Squareback/Fastback (AKA Type 3)

I have this old image of a shopping center in the city where I live, and right in front is a red Type 3 Notchback:

Maybe some others can pick off the rest.

Didn’t Dustin Hoffman advertise for these by popping out of both the front and rear trunks?

Interesting given that it must be what they call a gray market car (not imported thru official channels). Way off in the farthest row back is a blue 1959 Chevy wagon. It would have been old by the time this was taken (early 70s based on the Cougar in the foreground).

I'm pretty sure the notchback was sold here in Canada. It looks somewhat familiar.

Maybe a second gen Cougar next to the VW and then around a 67 Olds? Wasn't F&N where Frango mints were developed? Everyone associates them with Marshall Fields, but I think they got them when they bought F&N. Now its all Macy's.

I like the canvas sunroof and outside windshield shade on the old VW shot, along with the whitewalls. What year is it?

The Veedub is a '65, the sunroof a factory option (my '65 Bug had a steel Golde sunroof) and the sunshade was an aftermarket touch. Whitewalls were pretty rare on any VW of that era but not unheard of.

    Here's the same Type 3 sans accessories>

Yep, Frangos were a F&N thing, yet another item to hail from Seattle.

With the climate here, I think older cars were more common here than most areas back in the day.

That's a '66 Dodge Monaco 500, beautiful car. These not only had the great twin-pod instrument cluster but a really posh interior with unusual rattan trim panels used throughout.

I found a link to a '65 Monaco ad which showed some interior options including: 6 different color options depending on either vinyl or cloth and vinyl interior choices. And the rattan wicker pattern trim too.

By 1978 when my dad bought his Dodge Monaco dealer demo, the interior was no way near that level of comfort or style.

Note MONACO on the trunk lid between the tail lights rather than DODGE.

It'd be fun to take that to the actual Monaco (just like taking an old Monte Carlo to Monte Carlo).

Actually, you'd probably be a hit in the old Dodge - while modern American cars are mostly poorly regarded in Europe (save for Mustangs, Corvettes, etc), vintage ones enjoy a big fanbase.

Note MONACO on the trunk lid between the tail lights rather than DODGE.
