Citroen Bijou - 1960/61, and it is not a French model, it was instead unique to Britain. Citroen assembled cars in Slough before and after the war, until the late 60's. In 1959 the local plant commissioned a design for a fibre-glass two door body, to fit the 2CV, and this was the result. They built at least 50, I think but it weighed more than the standard 2CV, which only had a 425cc engine at that time, and the top speed when "The Motor" tested it in 1961 was about 45 mph. Also it cost more than a Mini or a Ford Anglia.
It actually looks better from the front than from this angle, but it was never going to set the sales charts alight. I think there are still several left on the road - when I saw one at a car show two years ago it had been upgraded to the 602cc engine which was fitted to later 2CV's and the owner said that gave about 65mph, but the acceleration would be measured with a calendar rather than a stop-watch...

I swear I could recreate that shot in my Outback by driving about 20 minutes out of Boise. :P
A few of those canyons in this area are up to 4,000' deep and you don't have any idea until you stop the car and walk over to peer down.
It's a '76 Celica.

A better test is the slice of yellow car. That is the front fender of an early 70's Opel Manta. Even has the black out hood.

I'm sure you're right about the Opel Manta.

Aha! The wheels look familiar.
Okay, my second guess based solely on the wheels is an OSCA!
Sorry if this is old news, just couldnt look through 500+ pages.
Bob won't mind if I just kill it. *poof* :shades:
Pretty good guess then, Shifty. Those are exceptional wheels for a 1963 car, alloys I imagine. The car is a '63 OSCA GT Tipo 1600.
