Well, that works, and more discernible than what I was going to point out which is the raised line which runs down the rear quarter in the Ford and in the pic, but ends just behind the rear window of the Willys.

That raised line on the '34 and '35 Willys is as long as the one on the Ford.

As well as seeing the hinge, I don't see a door handle where it should be if it were a Willys.

No, it ain't. At least not in the pics provided. Willys comes to a point behind the window. Ford continues all the way down the fender.

Maybe this'll clear it up...maybe it won't...from wiki:

I tried, but I couldn't post the video. I was thinking that it kind of looked like a Lancer, a Subaru, or maybe a Mazda. I'm just judging by the C pillar design.

The curved roof and C pillar are very distinctive, only car that has them that I know of is the Sebring.

B pillar seems too thick to be the sebring. Plus the angle of the back edge of rear window seems more angled in the security pic than the sebring.

IIRC the "Traveler" name was applied to some wagon versions of the Mini. Perhaps it depended on whether they were branded Morris (Traveler) or Austin (Countryman?).

I think the Morris branded Minis were originally called Morris Mini Minors or something like that.

There is something funny about that Morris Mini Minor - in the UK the Morris was always a Traveller and the Austin Countryman (as were their bigger cars like the Cambridge Countryman and the Oxford Traveller).

What is different is it has a grille which looks more like an Innocenti one - and they had different names I think.

The Morris Minor Traveller which you show reminds me of my first car which was a blue one (Trafalgar Blue) although not in such good condition

Morris Minors were always Morris not Austin - except the van version which was sold for the last few years as both an Austin and a Morris - possibly the pick-up as well but I can't recall ever seeing one.

Pretty good eye stick, I didn't notice it but the sign sez he's a dealer and the pick was taken in '62, about the time the 144 came out (IIRC).

The Valiant is a first gen ('60-'62) car, a member of the first crop of big three compacts.

There's an inconsistency here. The first year for the 140 series was 1967.

You're right, Stick. I owned a 142 and my parents and sister owned 144's, and I would have guessed it was one of those. I'd be tempted to guess the picture was taken later than '62, but I can't identify any newer cars.
