Hello and Happy New Year!! I have been offered 45900 out the door price for Lexus RX350 AWD. MSRP is 53650 How much should I pay monthly lease for it. This is my first time leasing and not sure how to do the math so the dealer doesn’t get me somehow. I am paying $1000 down payment. I am in Northern Virginia. Most of the dealers here are aggressively giving discounts on RX350. Thank you in advance

I need to ask Dealer for the cap cost. Can you confirm the 51% RV for 12k 36 months? And what is the RV and mf for 48 months 12k?

My dealer said his system showed 51% for 36/12, 42% for 48/12. Other dealers said the same RV as yours. My dealer is offering 48/12k zero drive off with $466.19 before tax for MSRP $52619. Contact other dealers, but no one can match or beat this offer.

15K/yr is the "standard" mileage allowance. Maybe, your guy isn't smart enough to add the 2% for 12K/yr?

Residuals are national, and dealers aren't permitted to change them. That will come out in the wash.

Payment seems about right. If we knew the tax amount and adjusted CAP, we could know for sure.
I'd looks at pushing down on the selling price. This is the only 2017 model left for Lexus to lease. Seems like they were trying to get you under $600, but I'm betting you could get closer to $550-$575.

Another Ohio buyer (Columbus) here looking at an RX350 F Sport.

    2017 Lexus RX 350 f sport
    MSRP: $61,474
Sale: $55,474 (9% off MSRP including $3500 Lexus Cash
    36/15
    MF/RV: 0.00001/52

Drive off: $1000 ($750 acquisition, $250 doc fee)
    Monthly: $760

Only the first set of numbers from the dealer, so will get adjusted cap cost including acquisition, doc and 7% sales tax next time.

There should be more room in the way of a lower sales price, right?

Yeah.. $2500 off besides the rebate isn't much on a 2017. Especially one that's loaded up, like that one.

I’m in Cleveland. Got another quote for $620 and 0 drive off and that’s where I’m stuck. Should I keep pushing or walk out?
They are also trying to counteroffer with a non-f sport AWD 2017. I haven’t done much reasearch on a non f type. What are reasonable figures for 2017/18 36/12 non f sport?

    36/12
    MF/RV: 0.00001/54
    Lexus Cash: $3500

    Drive off: $1861
    Monthly: $598

    Thank you

Did they give you the adjusted CAP cost?
    Or, a breakdown of the $1861 drive-off?
    Drive off includes 1st monthly, document, acquisition, license. ($598, $250, $700, $400)
Which part of Ohio are you?

I’m in Cleveland. Got another quote for $620 and 0 drive off and that’s where I’m stuck. Should I keep pushing or walk out?
They are also trying to counteroffer with a non-f sport AWD 2017. I haven’t done much reasearch on a non f type. What are reasonable figures for 2017/18 36/12 non f sport?

Subtract 1% from the F-Sport residual for a non F-Sport.

If you aren't happy, walk. It's still early in the month and the lease numbers aren't going to change. Shop other dealers and see if you can do better.

Michaell, thanks  for taking time and answering questions. One more question. Is there a potential “deal” loss once 17 models sell out? And what do you mean “early in the month”?  My lease is coming up in 3 months and while I still have time, I would rather have all ducks in a row.

    thank you

At some point, Lexus will stop supporting leases on the 2017's. Don't know when that will be, nor does anyone else.

"Early in the month" - today is the 9th, and the Lexus MF and incentives are valid through the end of January.

You should lease your next car when you need to - don't complicate things by trying to trade out too early.

I am looking at an RX350 AWD in New York
    MSRP = $52,814
    Sell Price = $49,349
    Invoice = $49,259
    Lease Term = 42 months
    Allowed Miles = 15K per year (total = 52,500 for 42 months
    Money Factor = 0.00001
    Residual = 47%

The sell price offered seems very high and the resulting monthly pay is $598 for 42 months
Am I being given the correct money factors and residuals?
It looks like most deals here have much higher sell price percentage reduction from MSRP
What is a reasonable sell price with all lease cash and incentives applied?

I confirm the MF and residual.

We don’t track pricing – use the “make / model / year” tabs at the top of the page to link to the Edmunds price tools. But yes, read back through the last page or two of this thread to see what others have been able to negotiate.

    Hello,

Can I please have the 36/15 numbers for base RX 350 in southern california? My understanding it to +1% for F sport, is there a difference for AWD from the base numbers?

    Thank you

Sorry. This is 36m/10k. Here is their breakdown

The residual given is 56% of MSRP.
    I show either 54% or 55% for Base/FSport.
Not sure how they get you 56%, unless it's just wrong.
.00001 MF. They could be marking that up slightly, but they don't disclose it.

They have a convoluted way of listing amounts, but I end up with a payment of $437/mo.+tax, which is about $14/mo. under their quote. That could come from a slight money factor markup, or the residual being off by 1%.

I don't have the Eastern Region numbers to check, but it looks like an $1800 rebate.
Central Region has $3500 lease cash.

Is this quote from January, or last month? That would explain a lot.

thank you.. and how about for 36month/10k? How much % off MSRP should I aim for a base RX? Also is it true that you shouldn't use your car trade in cash as cap cost reduction because you will lose that amount in the unfortunate event of the vehicle being totaled?
