I am leasing a Toyota Sienna XLE Premium with entertainment system for $519 a month. I live in Chicago so it seems that I have to pay an additional tax on my lease payments. The residual value will be $22,691 for 3 years and the selling price is $36,459. Good Deal or still keep looking?

Does Toyota offer a 10K lease program? I saw a response to a MF / residual question on a 36M / 10K lease... Toyota rep (in South Florida) told me that the lowest mileage program is at 12K. Can anyone confirm?

We don't have the lease information for SE Toyota, but I too have heard that Toyota does not offer 10K mileage allowances.

Could you please provide the residuals for the same models for 36/12 lease. I know you don't have Michigan MF's but I would assume in other regions the money factor is still .00001 for this term, am I correct?

Is Indiana a different region the Michigan? If so, what is the MF for Indiana currently for these trim levels? A dealer told me its .00034 for XLE AWD and XLE Premium AWD and I am trying to confirm.

Is Indiana a different region the Michigan? If so, what is the MF for Indiana currently for these trim levels? A dealer told me its .00034 for XLE AWD and XLE Premium AWD and I am trying to confirm.

Not certain if IN and MI are similar or different regions, for Toyota.

Check with multiple IN dealers and see if all of them quote the same .00034 MF.

Lease a new 2017 Sienna for $239 a month for 36 Months with $2,999 due at signing, which includes $2760 down, $239 first month's payment, $1750 TFS Lease Subvention Reduction, and $0 security deposit. Example based on model 2017 Models 5338. Total MSRP including freight is $33480. Monthly payments of $239 x 36 Months equals $8604. Capitalized cost of $27332 based on down payment and dealer participation which may vary by dealer. Lease-end purchase option is $18749. $350 disposition fee due at lease end unless customer purchases vehicle or decides to re-finance through Toyota Financial Services. Lease does not include taxes, license, title fees, acquisition fee of $650, insurance, regionally required equipment and other dealers’ charges are extra and not included in the amounts shown.

The cap cost says "27332 based on down payment...". But when you put a down payment on a lease, doesn't that go toward the payments/"rent" cost rather than the cap cost? Ultimately I'm trying to back into the sale price of the vehicle.

No.. the downpayment reduces the CAP cost, which reduces depreciation and ergo, the payment.
All lease cash or rebates are applied as CAP cost reductions.

Sorry that makes sense - brain freeze.  So to back into the sale price before down payment and TFS incentive it's 27332 + 2760 down pmt + 1750 subvention = 31842.  ~800 above invoice.

Maybe there's room left still.

Question for the Michaell and KYFDX: I'm in the Los Angeles area trying to lease a '17 Sienna XLE Premium, but I may go with a Pacifica instead as a last resort. I need a low mileage lease with $2,000 out the door for $350/ mo. I understand that Toyota cash incentives aren't currently available for leases, but if they were, I would be able to get the price that I need.

Two questions:
1. Given historical trends and the timeliness of 18's hitting the market, do you think it's likely that a more aggressive incentive will come out next month (August 2017)?
2. Do you think Toyota will open up on cash incentives for leasing?

I realize there is a lot of speculation involved here, and I'm not holding you to your answer. You obviously have a ton of experience and I'm asking that you take your best guess on what you've seen in the past. Thank you!

It's all speculation, at this point.

No insight on what might happen next month.

But, you're not wrong in your thinking. It all depends on how much 2017 inventory is on the dealer lots, and whether Toyota wants to offer incentives to move them.
