Looking at a 2017 Pilot EX-L FWD. They are currently offering $329/mo lease before the usuals of tax, title, etc...and with $3,200 down. It's a 3yr/12K miles.

Is it reasonable that I can get out of there with a $330/mo payment and only pay $1,500 down? or can I do better?

$3200 is about $89/mo, so the true cost of the lease is closer to $415-420/mo, plus tax. And, you still have to pay the fees and such up front, or the payment will be even higher.

You'd have to get the dealer to knock $1700 off the price to get to $330/mo

Back at the end of December, I was looking into leasing a 2017 Pilot Touring AWD.  I couldn't make sense of the lease numbers.  I ended up putting a big chunk of money down (from my paid off 2011 Pilot) and financing it at 0.9% for 5 years.

The QX60 is nice (just don't go for the 21" wheels) as is the Highlander.  They both lease much more favorably than the Pilot.  That being said, I do know that the Pilot has a much roomier 3rd Row and more room behind the 3rd row than most of the competition.  I've got 3 kids (11 & under) and we use the 3rd row all the time.
