Could I please have the residual and money factor for November for the 2017 Giulia Ti RWD in Florida? 15k miles, 24/27/36/39 months. Any factory incentives? Thank you.

Congrats! I am in AZ as well. Did you get it from Tempe or Scottsdale? Also, when you say $0 down, did you put absolutely everything in the lease, even the first month payment and registration fee? Thanks and have fun with the Giulia :)

Yes. That included everything wrapped into the lease, including 1st month payment and all fees and taxes. Bill Luke in Tempe.

I know numbers probably aren't out yet (maybe Dec 5th?) but just getting in line.

Ti RWD 24/10 or 27/10 if they are still doing that stupid term.

    Bumpity bump! :)

They are advertising $800 less needed for a DP for the same monthly this month. So curious on the incentives as well.

    Thanks!

What is the MF and residual for 39 months, 10k Ti AWD in CA? Also, who does Chrysler/Fiat use for financing? One dealer is telling me Ally bank.

Top of the mornin', gents - I'm looking to lease either the base trim, or the Ti, in CA. Looking for MF and Res on 10k and 12k, at different term lengths (see next...)

My other question is, what tends to be the wisest lease term on this car, 24/27 or 36/39? I like the lower payments on the shorter terms, but perhaps the shorter term numbers aren't actually all that great? Since the car is so new, and the residuals seem pretty lousy for the ~3 year terms, I was leaning towards going shorter.

    Thanks!

    We don't know exactly.

Chrysler Capital standard money factors tend to vary between .00193-.00230.

So, very high, in any instance.

Usually, shorter terms have higher payments. That's likely to be true in this case, as well.

Thank you Kyfdyx. I usually see that trend as well, I just thought that the significant drop in residual for this car for the longer terms might counteract it a bit.

One last question, what are the numbers for the base trim with the sport package?

Would you guys mind checking some numbers for me? This is a quote I currently have from a dealer. It's not bad, but still higher than I want. This is in CA.

    MSRP $43,440
    Selling Price $39,640
    Acq. $595
    Lic. $368
    Cap Fees $405.75 (??)
    Cap Taxes $453.13 (??)
    Gross Cap Cost $40,720

    $2,000 down
    $4,250 rebates
    Net Cap Cost $34,923

Through Ally (cheaper than Chrysler) - 60% res., .92 rate, 27 month term, 10k/year.
    Payment - $377.65 incl. $25.53 tax

Not sure what Cap Fees and Taxes are, sounds bogus, but I don't know.
    Thank you in advance.

The CAP taxes are taxes are the upfront taxes on the rebate and downpayment. Collected upfront, on amounts paid upfront, and added to your CAP cost.
I'm not sure what the CAP fees might be, since you are already paying $368 license fees. CA dealers have an $80 doc fee, but you might ask about those.

I don't have Ally numbers to check, but if I assume that it's 0.92% APR, then I get about the same payment.
Seems like a pretty good deal, but on a short lease, a big upfront payment really disguises the true cost.
With just $1000 due at signing, the payment goes up by $40/mo. (still a good deal)

Thanks for your input Kyfdyx, and the explanation on the CAP tax. Yeah, the CAP fees I'll need to ask about - if it's just extra margin for them, it'll save me $15-$20ish/month if I get them to drop it.

The actual plan is to get the same discount numbers on a less-optioned model with an MSRP closer to 38k/39k. Then I should be able to have to have the payment be around $300/mo with a similar down. However, I'll only be willing to put down $500-$1000 ultimately.

If the current payment offer is about $9/mo, per $1000 of MSRP, finding a unit that is $4000 less MSRP, is only going to save about $36/mo. And, if you put $1000 less upfront, that will add about the same amount on a 27 month lease. So, don't expect to have a lower payment.

Right, I suppose that I've been doing this in my head with the classic $30/mo per $1000 MSRP * Res% - which seems generally fine for your average 36 month term, but a term that's about 25-30% shorter would reduce it proportionately, right?

Well, I'll have to figure it out when we get there, because the salesguy and I punched in the numbers on a build-it-myself model that would sticker around $37,500, and with all other numbers (including the 8.5%ish discount) being the same, my payment was around $300/month with the same $2000 down. But perhaps other adjustments needed to be made - I'll report back if/when we get to that point, in case anyone in the future might benefit from reading it.

The $30 per $1000 rule isn't for MSRP. It's $30 per thousand of CAP cost, all else being equal. Meaning, if you make a $1000 CAP reduction, or negotiate a price that is $1000 lower, it will lower the payment by $30.

The rule doesn't apply to cars with higher or lower MSRPs.

We don't have the Ally numbers to confirm your lease quote.

But, all things being equal, I'd go with the 39 month term.

The residual would be lower, to account for the miles.
But, we don't have the details on how Chrysler Capital adjusts it.
Money factor should be the same

Hoping the programs have improved for January on the 2017s.
Looking at a 2017 Giulia Ti Sport RWD.
Would like to know MF and Residual for 2017s in Florida:

I see in a previous post that 24 & 36 month numbers were given, so not sure which are the best programs or numbers to inquire on.
