I actually bought the car in MD (BMW of Annapolis). Ali was the sales person and he was great. Started high, but realized that I am not about the game, so gave me my number fairly quickly, after I showed him other offers I received and the number I was looking for.

That being said, the vehicle was registered at 08234 ( South Jersey, Atlantic County).

I'm not sure about 530e having better incentives vs 530i, however BMW financial gets to receive 4668 tax rebate from gvmnt for 530e, so I assume because of that they have better negotiating power for 530e.

I got mine well below invoice.

Today I went to another dealership with my brother as he wants one too, took my lease paperwork, told them give me the same deal on the car and we sign now for my brother, they refused to take my business, because of how low the price was.

If I use $51,680 as the cap cost, I get a payment of $623/mo, with tax

If I add the $925 acquisition fee to the cap cost, I'm at $656/mo, with tax

In the ballpark, but I'd want to know the full breakdown of the $3000 due at signing, and the exact adjusted cap cost the dealer is using for their payment quote.

There is a .00030 uplift to the MF for ED, but the second payment is waived in return.

As of now there are no incentives for a 2019, only 18 models
That's what I was told 
Have to wait to see if incentives for July August  or September.  sign paper work in early September for delivery late September pickup.

The $3000 is only on a purchase.

CA might have an EV rebate on Plug-in Hybrids, but it seems that would come directly from the state, after the fact.
Of course, there should be a dealer discount, as well.

You may be reducing your monthly payment, but it doesn't change the total cost of the lease.

And, that $8500 would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled before lease end.

In NJ, I only show $2000 loyalty.

In some other areas of the country, I show $4000 rebate, in addition to the loyalty

Some dealers have quoted me $3,000 in incentives and rebates while others have quoted me $2,500 in incentives and rebates. I'm a current BMW owner and have a company affiliation. So, I'm wondering if some dealers are not giving me something in rebates and incentives.

Also, how is the treatment of tax done on a lease. NJ dealers have quoted me a first payment with a lump sum of tax usually around $1,800 while some NY dealers have quoted me a first payment without the lump sum of tax.

This will be my first lease. I usually just buy the car but I'm trying out leasing to see how I like it.

NJ collects the tax upfront. You can either pay it upfront, or have it rolled into the CAP cost.
