Hello, New to the forum. I'm looking at dealer that is willing to lease 4 series grand coupe that was dealer loaner car with a value of $43500. How should i think about MF and residual for this deal. He through out a wide range like mid 400s to low 500 but feels high for 43.5K value. What are your thoughts?
What is the MSRP? How many miles? What term and mileage allowance? State and tax rate? How much due at signing with those numbers?
Thanks for quick response. I will get all the details this Saturday and get back to this site.
Hi, If I place a custom order in March to start my lease in May: - Will I be able to lock March MF/RV? - Will I be able to switch to May MF/RV if they become better? - Will I be able to lock March lease credit and loyalty credit? Thanks.

Yes, yes and yes..
But, if you take the March lease and loyalty, you have to use the March lease program. You can't mix and match.
I've been offered the following on a 2018 440i convertible M-sport package in southern california:
MSRP: 65135 Residual: 57% money factor: .001560 ZERO TOTAL DOWN 36 months/10k miles a year lease $805/month including tax (tax 9.5%)
Is this a good deal? Can I get any more off? how much? Thanks.
.00156 MF and 57% residual is correct $3000 lease credit What is the exact amount due at signing? Adjusted CAP cost has to be around $58,300 to get that payment.
Hello! I am looking at a 2018 430i xDrive, retired loaner with 4400 miles, for a 36/12 lease. Can you tell me MF and residual given the current miles? Thanks!

I was quoted $516/month.
Please let me know if this is a fair price.
If I deduct the rebate from the sale price... I get $513/mo. But, your numbers look rounded off, so their payment is probably good.
Just make sure your $3780 is itemized, and the charges are all legitimate. If so, looks like a good deal.
This is what I just received from the dealership. I’m also looking at the a5 Sportback and likely going to go with better of deals. I’m hoping to get some insight and help from the true Pros from this very informative site. In advance, thank you guys for all that you do to help Joes like myself get a fair shake!

What is the adjusted cap cost the dealer used for that payment quote?
Is that $1500 total out of pocket, or $1500 + first payment + registration costs, etc.?
Did you round the MF? The base rate is .00156, this month.
Residual is adjusted down by $1000 to account for the loaner miles.
I think you could get a new one for that payment, frankly.
The car is listed online for $51,385.00 and Discounted to $42,900.00 (as advertised on website). The paper they gave me with numbers show the MSRP as $51,385.00, Price $45,900.00, and Price w/Incentive $42,900.00. They provided me with a MF of .0016. They told me my drive off would be $1,500.00 plus first payment. Other than getting the proper base MF, should I ask for the 3K incentive come off the advertised $42,900.00 that the website shows?

My guess is the $42,900 is the price with the incentives included. The $45,900 is itself an almost 11% discount from the MSRP, which is very strong for a BMW.

Is the 11% discount still strong even though it is a loaner with 4K miles? I've never purchased/leased a loaner before.

11% is just an average discount for a loaner.
The residual will be reduced by $1000 to account for the current mileage.
In February last year I ordered a 2018 440i GC that came out to $64,905. When the car arrived in April the residual was horrible and I believe my payments would have been high $800s or low $900s. I could have leased an $80k+ M3 with Competition Package for less per month. I decided to do a 10 month swap a lease on an X6 in the meantime.
Now I'm looking to get a 2018 440i GC - Total Suggested Price: $62,985.00 My zip code is 33133 in Miami, FL
The car I originally wanted was sold a few days ago and the dealership found this near identical car at another Florida dealership.
Client Advisor wrote to me in an email: "per your request on a lease of 36/12k and $2,589.82 out of pocket you'll be at $862.88 a month. The residual is $35,271.60 and the money Factor is .00176".
Residual is 56% correct?
I can see they're trying to make a little money on the MF.
He had mentioned over the phone a discount of ~$5,500.00 but didn't include that in the email, so I doubt the $862.88 is taking that into account. I also asked for a breakdown of the $2.589.82 which I haven't received.
How much more should I try to negotiate off the price to get a good price? is selling price of $53,000 delusional? Should I go to another dealership see what deal they'll give me on this same car?
With MY2019's now hitting dealers shouldn't residuals be getting better now? Feel as though they're still bad.
Hi, could you please post the April 2018 MF and RV for 430xi Gran Coupe w/ M-Sport and 440xi Gran Coupe w/ M-Sport in NYC, 36mo/10k miles? Also any incentives this month? Thank you.

If I place a custom order in March to start my lease in May:
- Will I be able to lock March MF/RV?
- Will I be able to switch to May MF/RV if they become better?
- Will I be able to lock March lease credit and loyalty credit?
Thanks.
But, if you take the March lease and loyalty, you have to use the March lease program. You can't mix and match.

I have a offer from a dealer.
MRSP: $50,515
Selling Price (before rebates) - $46,145
Rebates Applied - $3000 lease rebate + $1000 college grad rebate
Residual Value - 57% of MSRP = $28,793.55
Money Factor - 0.00156
I can't get the numbers above to match the dealers offer.
Dealer wants $2995 Cap cost reduction plus taxes and fees. 36 months 10k miles. $394 per month. What do you think of this deal?
Also forgot to mention that the dealer orginally offered the payment of $349 with same terms if I had bmw loyalty.
We aren't big fans of cap reduction, anyway. That money would be at risk if the car is stolen or totaled.
