If they are paying $1400 to get out of your current lease, then that comes out of your pocket, one way or the other. Why not wait?

Not too far off. If you had the adjusted CAP cost and an accounting/itemization of it, we'd know for sure. You are definitely getting that $1400 rolled into the lease.

Okay... a couple of things
1) Paying extra to get it from another dealer 2) Regardless of your payments "not being rolled into the new lease", that $1500 is coming out of your pocket, one way or the other. There is no program to cover lease payments from another make. You are paying $1500 more for that vehicle, than if they weren't covering the payments.

If they run your credit, and base the rate on your score, I think they have to provide you with a written report. I'd make sure to get that, to see if that is truly the case.
At $48K adjusted CAP, you should be around $640/mo. for 42 months.

Ask the dealer what adjusted cap cost they are using for their quote. And, a full accounting of how they got to that number from the $48,150 price.
