Hi there. I'm looking to pick up a CX-5 Grand Touring AWD tomorrow. Leased a lot of cars prior - never a Mazda. Can we confirm that the MF is 0.00031 and residual is 57% for 36/15? Mazda acquisition fee is $545? I am in Maryland.

MSRP is $33665 - it has about $2K in options. What sort of a deal should I be looking at at the end of the month? Dealer is offering me $2071 off which includes the current $750 rebate. Does that rebate apply to leases?

Anything else I should know?

Acquisition fee is $595.

I show $360 lease cash on the GT; no knowledge of any other lease incentives.

The $360 is a factory to dealer incentive.

I have no knowledge of the $750 incentive, or if it can be combined with the .00031 MF

We don't have any information on the $750. It's possible that it's not compatible with a lease.
The $360 is listed as "Customer Lease Support"

24/10 - .00230 and 71% (GT) or 70% (Touring)

36/10 - .00031 and 60% for all trims

$1080 lease cash on Sport AWD

The MF we quote is for top tier credit. Dealer can mark it up by .00050 for extra profit, however.

So I put $600 down and my monthly's NOT inclusive of 8.875% NY sales tax are $282.48 flat. Doing that math, I'm paying off 45%(if I include the taxes on my monthly's) of the cars value in 3 years time @ 45K miles. Feel like there was a lot more room to negotiate. Feel I could have gotten them down to $255 or $260. Anyways do these numbers add up on an MSRP of $26285 and an invoice price of $25567. Thanks again for all your help.

Reason I ask is because I've signed the papers and put down $600, but not taken physical delivery of the vehicle until tomorrow. Anyhow it was an emergency lease so I'm going to stick with it, feel like I could have gotten a better price if I did more research.

We would need to know the MSRP and negotiated selling price to run the numbers for you.

But, if you feel obligated to honor the deal you signed for, use this as a learning experience and don't forget to check in with us before your next lease.

Congrats on your new CX-5; I was able to tag along with a friend who test drove one a month or so ago. Those are nice cars.

I would look into a 2016.5 but they won't lease them. Dealer has 8-10 on his lot all GT awd $5k off msrp ends today.

No mention of dealer fee (which is likely to be large in FL).

And, like you've noted, no discount from sticker.

Hard to qualify the information when it's incomplete.

Just left the dealership with a base CX-5 GT. Didn't even plan on looking at the car but they were pushy/desperate and we were tempted.

$3210 - $360 rebate, so $2850 out the door. 36/10 lease with .00031 MF, MSRP $30,535 sale price $29,561.98, residual $18,321.

$297.48 per month = $325 after tax.

Monthly payment $341.36 including Tax. 36 mo / 15k miles. I calculate that as 57%

I ultimately plan on buying out, residual value at $15,897.30.
