I was also offered another deal from another dealer similar but cheaper in monthly payments: For a 39/12 lease you can do $425.56/month with fees of $1686.06 due at signing. MSRP is the same but the buy it now price is $39,417.
You think I can go lower? I was basically aiming for 400 a month.......
my lease is up next month, but I wanted to get the convertible NOW . I thought the pull ahead was good until September, but now my dealer says they are not offering it now, and I have to wait until next month. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Hi johnl617. The money factor and residual value that you were quoted look good. The selling price looks good as well. If you like the car, I personally don't see any reason not to go for it. I don't think that you're going to get this car for any lower than $425 per month.

Here is what I have from a dealer in MD
2011 G37x Premium & Nav. The MSRP on this car $41890 Invoice price $38465, price to sell $37990 including VA tax and tags. money factor is .0015 and residual value %62
I see many of you reporting acquisition fee/bank fees = $595 which is what I paid last time I leased. I recently received a quote for acquisition fee/bank fee = $700. Looking around Infiniti websites says "...$700 non-refundable acquisition fee." I also saw one other person in here report a fee of $700 from MA.
What gives? Is it 595 or 700?
Also lease return "Disposition Fee" is new to me too. I assume that this is paid at end of lease and not upfront? And is waived if you lease with Infiniti again?

Sales tax in Westchester is 8.375
After I did my calculations with an online lease calulator and also tried using an IPhone app.
My Month payments included Tax are 387.03
I am worried that is incorrect. Car_Man or anyone if you can provide some guidence on this, it would really be helpfull as I am looking to get the car this weekend.

I get crushed on Philadelphia city tax (11%) to get a payment of 652.95 with the tier 1 credit and about $20 less at tier 0.
Would I be better off looking at a 36mo option, do you think? Or does it all work out in the end?
Hi goeteb. Generally speaking, the payments for 39 month leases are often a little lower than for 36 month leases because one is spreading out the large initial depreciation hit that new vehicles experience over three additional payments.
Dealers will usually try to steer consumers towards the lowest monthly payment.

My 2008 G35 lease ends in 5 months. The car has 38,000 miles, and is running great and looks great. Just put on new Goodyear tires. Trying to decide whether to buy the car off of the lease for around $20,000, or lease a 2011 G37. Is a G37 a huge upgrade over a G35? Or are the cars similar? Cars look alike. Is the G37 automatic transmission that significant of an upgrade over the G35 transmission?
I have the 2010 G37 and my biggest issue is with the poorly executed 7 speed. It is great in highway driving, but stop/start city driving reveals it's fault (jerky shifts, transmission braking)
If you love the G35, I recommend sticking with it.

As far as the selling price goes, the car that you mentioned probably has a spread of around $3,300 between its full MSRP and its dealer invoice price. That probably puts the selling price that you were quoted at around $1,000 over invoice, which isn't bad. Normally I would say that it wouldn't hurt to comparison shop a little to see if you can beat this deal, but given the recent supply problems with Japanese vehicles I'm not sure that you will be able to do much better than this right now.

As long as you know what the buy rate of the car that you're interested in, you can call the dealer on it if they try to mark your car's money factor up. If they lie to you and tell you that they aren't when you know that they are marking the factor up you are always free to shop around and take your business to a more reputable dealer.

So I'm looking for a G37 coupe sport with manual transmission ( 6MT )to lease. Dealership on Long Island tells me he does not have one and located only six in the USA. But he did run me some numbers and said he may or may not be able to get the swap from dealerships around the country. The car comes standard with premium and navi packages. I am quoting directly from their order sheet, so I trust that the numbers are accurate. End of month quota drive might have been part of the reason for them to make this deal, and I did have a quote through truecar.com that they matched. Hopefully they are not playing games, and I won't have an unpleasant surprise waiting when I pick up the car.

my residual on the contract is about $23,000 and using edmunds true market value i get
Trade-in $22,472 Private Party Sale $24,635 Dealer Retail $26,950
is it a good deal to just buy it from them? is it possible to lower the price more? are there other factors to consider, such as financing? i cant find a 3rd party loan that does end of lease loans, any suggestions?

Isn't the acquisition fee included in the final price of the car?
The acquisition fee is somewhere in there at 799 - 875 depending on dealer.

Money Factor can be anywhere from .00130 up to .00565 depending on credit. (.00172 is good to use for calculations).
Dealers will usually try to steer consumers towards the lowest monthly payment.

As far as I can see the sport is cheaper but has more in it. Is the residuals and MF that much worse for the Sport 6MT?
