I got quoted the following lease terms for a 2011 G37 Convertible w/ the Navigation and the Premium Packages:

    39 Month w/ 12,000 miles yr = $599 + tax / mth

    39 month w/15,000 miles yr = $640 + tax / mth

Do these look like good rates? or high?

    Thanks

I picked up the car yesterday, and everything was as promised, no tricks or gimmicks. They also took back my Honda Accord EXL coupe, promising to return it to a local Honda dealer for me, then subsequently decided to buy the car from Honda Financial themselves.

The total experience with this dealer has been amazing- they seriously went to the mat to earn my business, and provided the most hassle-free leasing experience I've ever had. With so many car dealer horror stories out there, it is refreshing to finally get one that provides an overall positive experience.

dammitjim1, would you be willing to fax or e-mail me your paperwork so I can try and get the same deal locally. You can obviously block out all personal information.
Please let me know asap, I want to push for an "end of month" deal...
    Thanks!
  • dammitjim1dammitjim1 Member Posts: 95
1bufdaddy - I am traveling for the next week or so and don't have access to send it to you. Honestly, you shouldn't need it, though. I went in armed with nothing more than a Truecar.com pricing report, and Massapequa Infiniti wasn't even one of the responding dealers. But it was end of month, and they were motivated to make a deal. I think you'll get what you want if you do the same.
  • 1buffdaddy1buffdaddy Member Posts: 12
Trust me, I do need it. I went in armed with everything under the sun at the end of last month and could not even come close to your deal at 2 different dealerships. I know it is a major pain in the butt and you will get nothing out of it, but I would really your time if you could make it happen. I still have time, so if it is next week, that would be ok too. Your deal is much better than you think.
  • dammitjim1dammitjim1 Member Posts: 95
OK, you need to get me your contact info and I'll do what I can. I thought the deal was good - even deceptively good, but it was just what they said in the end.

I am looking to lease a G37 sedan journey with premium and sport, 39 months and 12,000 miles. What's the latest money factor and residual value? And with 5000 down payment, what will be the monthly payment? Thanks a lot!!!

PS MSRP 40575, they gave me sale price for 39,000.
  • joshsamjoshsam Member Posts: 1
Car_Man, do you have the June money factor and residuals for a G37 Sedan with Premium Package? The dealers around me are advertising two leases - 24 months and 39 months. Thanks!
  • xpillzboyxxpillzboyx Member Posts: 1
    Hey Guys,

I am trying to lease a 2011 G37 Coupe w/ Journey and Premium Package, the same one they have a special on.

    I want a 39 month lease with 2500 total due at signing 10K miles/year.

Right now, the best deal I've managed to get with those numbers is $370.00 + tax.

It seems a bit high compared to what my other friends have payed for they're same care, even though they got it a while ago.

I wanted to see what would be the best price you guys have seen for this type of lease or what can I expect to be the lowest I can get?

    Hello,

Having a hard time figuring out if the below is a decent deal or not. It's a true zero down- just sign and drive deal and I'm not sure how to include the dealer's contribution of 1st month, tags, etc into the lease equation.
2011 G37 Journey Coupe with premium package
    MSRP $42.930
Cap Cost including $700 lease fee $42633
    Invoice should be about $39,478
1st payment, tags, title, prep, etc.. $1,441- paid by dealer, 0 out of my pocket
    Purchase option $27,264
Payment $525 including 7% sales tax
    39 months/ 10k miles per year.

How do I figure the dealer's margin to invoice- cap cost less $1441 less invoice or cap cost including lease fee less $1441 less invoice? Just wondering how bad this deal is/isn't..

    Thanks,
    Confused

Car man, can I get July money factor and residual for 12K miles 36 or 39 month for a 37x Sedan?

Also, my credit score is around 700, does that mean that I can get close to their top credit money factor and residual values? I'm confused on how this works. Thanks.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
I certainly do joshsam. Infiniti Financial Services' June buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2011 G37 Sedan Journey with 12,000 miles per year are .00061 and 67% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00094 and 59%.

Here you go jpark1228. IFS' June buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G37X Sedan with 12,000 miles per year are .00117 and 61%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00128 and 60%.

I'm not sure what IFS' cutoff is for its best money factors, but I believe that a credit score of 700 should be good enough to qualify.

2011 G37x Sedan, Premium Package and Illuminated kick plates. MSRP about 40,745

    $364 per Month - 39 Months (38 payments left :) )
    17,000 Miles per year
$850 down (included 1st month payment)
    Trade-In: 2008 G35x (36k miles-$22k)
    RES: 59%
    MF .00128
    Owner Loyalty ($1000)

How'd I do for the last day of the month? Sheehy Infinity (Annapolis, MD) great experience!
  • tankerdrivertankerdriver Member Posts: 13
Just got 22K trade in for my 08 G35x (36k miles) plus $1000 owner loyalty so you should be close to even if you keep it and get a loan...payments might be around $425 (5%) for a 60 month loan. I would think that would keep up with depreciation so when you are ready for a new one you can trade in and not be upside down. Things to consider: did you take good care of it? Do you have a lot invested in down payment? Over mileage/wear & tear? Tires/brakes? Hope this helps.

    Hello:

This is my first time posting. Any help would be great. I am considering leasing a pre-owned 2010 Infiniti g37 coupe convertible that has 1,775 miles on it. The price the dealer is giving is $41,882. It does appear to come with all the bells and whistles. I am trying to figure out what would be a reasonable monthly lease price. Is that enough information to figure it out? I'm in the Miami area.

    Thanks

Here you go jeffman619. Infiniti Financial Services' June buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G37 Coupe Journey with 15,000 miles per year are .00076 and 59%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00090 and 58%.

If you were to lease this car with only 12,000 miles per year, its residual values would be 1% higher.

Could you please post the latest rates for G37 coupes and IPL for 39 month 10K/yr lease?

    Thanks!
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
I'd be happy to roulette2629. Honda Finance's July buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2011 G37 Sedan Journey with 15,000 miles per year are .00011 and 64%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

I believe that the loyalty cash that you mentioned is the only cash incentive that is currently available on leases of this car.

I tried doing a quick search on this thread regarding MSD for NYC residents but haven't found any answers regarding this.
I'm aware that NYC dealers don't offer MSD.
My question is whether I can go to neighboring states (ie: NJ, Conn) and do MSD even though I'm registered in NYC?
    TIA

It was 22k on paper for the trade-in...I owed $22500. I wrote a check for $850 which included 1st month payment (364.99). On paper it was $1850 cash down, but the $1000 owner loyalty took care of well $1000 of it so out the door giving them a check for $850, and they payed off the trade to my bank directly. Yes, 17,000 miles/year (39 month lease). Hope this helps...they said they needed to meet the end of month quota and were 1 or 2 cars short.

What do you think of this deal.

    2011 G37x Coupe Prem Pkg
$2100 (bank fee, first month, DMV and so on).
    12k/ yr

    $415/ 39 months

They are going to take back my 2008 G37 Coupe with 4 months left on the lease without rolling it into this one. Its under 6500 under the mileage with slight wear and tear.

Hi wheelson. I believe that IFS' residual values for leases with 10,000 miles per year are 2% higher than its 15,000 mile per year residuals.

Here's the information that you're looking for, looking2leas. Infiniti Financial Services' July buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 G37 Sedan Journey with 12,000 miles per year are .00058 and 57%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00075 and 56%.

If you were to lease with only 10,000 miles per year, these residual values would be 1% higher.

    hi Car_man, et al!

I used this forum 3 yrs ago when leasing my g35x in Maryland and it was a tremendous help so thanks for that! This time around, I will once again post the 'deal' I get & stick around to help other members.

Lease is coming up this week (nothing like waiting until the last min) and I'd like to lease the g37x. I have some of the info and would appreciate u and other members input & confirmation on these numbs.

I'll come back one more time with the rest of the numbers so that I can do this deal. I wanted to get your input before negotiating price, Premium Pkge, Interior Accents Pkge, etc

    Other quick questions:

    - Generally speaking, do you recommend a 36 or 39 month lease?

    - Dealer said NOT to get car inspected by Infiniti before turning it in, that there's a tax advantage to me if they buy it outright or something like this. Car's in great shape. Does this make sense to you?

    - Is bank/acquisition fee set by IFS?

    - Dealer says there is a difference in TMV for lease & buy- is this true?

Can you guys confirm + let me know if these numbers R valid & any good:

    Term: 39 months
MF: .00075 (top tier credit)-> from Car_man, dealer quoted higher
Residual value: 56% -> from Car_man, dealer quoted higher
    Allowable miles/yr- 12,000.
    Bank/acquisition fee- $700.
    Doc fee- $200.
    Owner loyalty- $1,000.
    Title- $50. (tags transfer over)
    Tax- 6%
    Destination fee $895.

    Thanks! Mitch

Can't answer all of your question, but I can answer some.

Generally speaking, do you recommend a 36 or 39 month lease?
Usually the 39 is going to be the better deal. However you have to decide do you want to be leasing a new car in 2014 in July or October. One reason to go 36 is if your state does not allow plate credit, but it seems like yours does.

Dealer said NOT to get car inspected by Infiniti before turning it in, that there's a tax advantage to me if they buy it outright or something like this. Car's in great shape. Does this make sense to you?
This sounds very suspect. You should have had your car inspected a month ago. I'm sure Infiniti sent you enough notices. Just because you have it inspected doesn't mean you could trade it in as the dealer wants instead of a lease turn-in. Why not have options?

Is bank/acquisition fee set by IFS?
    Yes

    - Dealer says there is a difference in TMV for lease & buy- is this true?
As long as the incentives are the same between buying and leasing there is no reason the numbers are not the same.

You didn't mention the selling price of the car in your deal, that the number you need to start with. If you can get invoice - $1000 loyalty cash that is a very good start.

    All,

Looking to get a 2011 g37 sedan journey 4dr auto w/ illuminated kick plates, carpeted trunk mat, navigation, premium package, sport package, and rear spoiler.

    The negotiated price is $39,196.

I qualify for the top tier credit.

Below are the drive-offs and payments, which don’t seem to be jiving with me given the residuals and money factors I've seen on here. Can anyone chime in to explain.

    36 Month / 15,000 mi/yr
    $492.68 + tax
    $1675.17 drive-off

    39 Month / 15,000 mi/yr
    $479.53 + tax
    $1660.10 drive-off

    48 Month / 15,000 mi/yr
    $493.74 + tax
    $1673.54 drive-off

    Thanks,

Hi all- went to the dealer today. can u tell me if the following is true? top tier credit, leasing g37x in Md:

MF- .00083 to buy, .00139 to lease (36 months)
.00096 to buy, .00149 to lease (39 months)

Said bank fee had increased from $595. to $700. March, 2011

Money factor is a leasing term, it has nothing to do with buying a car.

The purchase interest rate is currently 1.9% up to 60 months and 2.9% up to 72 months.

FYI to convert a money factor to a comparable interest rates multiply it times 2400. Example .00139 * 2400 = 3.336% interest rate.

    Thanks again for the input--

dealer quoted me 36.9 which is invoice - 1K (incl options). of course, we have to negotiate add-ons (doc fee...) but, is this a good sale price? doesn't incl 1K incentive.

also, do u know if bank fee is $595. or $700.?
