Where to the Dealer incentives and Bonus Lease cash information come from? Dealers locally here are saying there are no incentives currently. I'm just wondering if they're uninformed or straight lying.
The sources are confidential, but legitimate.
These are factory to dealer incentives; the dealer is under no obligation to pass them along to the customer

They are full of it. My dealer quoted me the same numbers. They won't budge off MSRP otherwise, but will give the $750 + 2000 lease cash
Also trying to figure how quickly does MF begin to fall, if at all.
I can wait till beginning of August to buy the car, so was trying to see if we expect any movement by then. I know no one can predict what it will do, but just to get a sense based on history.

With a new model, it's even harder to predict what the numbers will do. Early reports seem to show Acura has a hit on its hands, which mean the numbers may stay high for the current time frame.

I was looking at a FWD ASPEC Tech 12000 miles a year. they came up with a payment of $635 for 36 months stated the MSRP was 44570 because they add the all season mats, trunk tray, wheel locks and splash guards it adds 820.00. They stated the residual is calculated from MSRP without added accessories. Including sales tax. Then they have some type of luxcare but no money down.
Family member purchased ASPEC AWD 36/15 sales tax 7% included 588.00. Keep in mind ACURA has a lease calulator of their own. All you have to do is pick model.
Are you putting any money down. What is the MSRP?
No money down not even first months 45750 msrp 43136 sales price
2018 TLX v6 Tech 36/10 so 0.0011/58% MSRP: $40,850 Adj Cap Cost: $36,246 ($35,274 selling price + acq fee $595 + delivery fee $599) Down payment: $0 Out of pocket: $1,000 (cap cost reduction $222 + first month + tire/doc/DMV fees) Monthly payment (incl tax): $450
Dealer was giving me $20,500 for my 2015 TLX v4 Tech went down the street to carmax and they gave me an offer of $21,000, so my dealer matched it. After my payoff $16, 657, I get a check for $3343.
Yeah, this is our third car from this dealer, so maybe that played into it or he wanted to sell to get more inventory. Either way think I did pretty good.

Congrats! Looks like a great deal for a brand new model.
According to my calcs - this should give me monthly payment of $392 before taxes. Got to see if I can get him lower...any ideas if thats even possible based on the invoice and all other incentives?

What dealership is this?
This dealership didnt honor the deal even though their own sales guy offered this. Even though what they offered wasn't much worse, I just couldnt deal with them once they changed their tune.
This is Allentown Acura
I am dealing with another dealership now...will let the board know how it works out.
So here is the deal I have so far and I have spoke with sales manager.
2018 TLX ASPEC

You should try and reduce that down payment to $0. Only pay 1st month's payment for drive-offs, not sure why anyone would put any cash down for cap cost reduction on a lease....purchase/finance yes, but lease no way jose. You are just making yourself believe you are only paying $477 a month....add another $56 to that amount since you handing them the $2k. Would you lease that vehicle for $533 per month with $0 down?

Can't assume that all of that $2K is cap reduction - first payment, acquisition fee, dealer fee and DMV costs might represent a substantial amount of that cash.

Here is the message I received. You are paying MSRP.. that is what the residual value is calculated off. He gave you a discounted sale price. The $2000 is cap reduction. the payment would not be with that money going towards your first months payment, license, reg etc, At signing we would collect $2000.00 tax on that amount, first months payment, and dependent if we license if for you then license and registration fee.

So, $2000 cap reduction, plus the regular up front costs.
We suggest you skip the cap reduction - that money is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled.
First payment plus license / registration costs should be your out of pocket.

Yes, the absence of cap reduction - and rolling in any taxes or fees due - will result in a higher payment, but lower out of pocket costs.
Ask for the adjusted cap cost with those items rolled in, and excluding the $2000 cap reduction.

Reason I got to $392 was because I was including acquisition fee, doc fee, etc mentioned above in capitalized cost.
Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer, and the specific breakdown of the $2000 - that should answer any questions
