Hmmm...better MF but lower RV and only $250 added to lease incentives. Does Acura just want these to be lot queens or what because based on August figures they certainly weren't moving a lot of them.

Howdy gents. not sure with all the numbers floating around what applies, but how about a V6 tech FWD in NJ? MSRP $40,840. I see all these lease incentives but not sure how to apply, so what would rough estimate be on this car, assuming a purchase price of $38,000, with 1st payment and tax (6.875% on payment) rolled in? DMV fees and dealer doc fees paid on the side.

36/36,000.
Thanks.

If I add the tax into the cap cost, I get $427/mo.
stick I had to move my date at the Acura dealer from this Saturday to Thursday afternoon since I was unexpectedly offered the chance to attend the Pitt/PSU game. I'm planning on a test drive and, if I like the car enough, will probably start talking numbers on a lease for an AWD A-Spec. This is a different dealer than I was initially corresponding with but it's closer to me to at least take a test drive and see if they back away as the other dealer did when I told them what I was thinking on selling price.
I've been researching selling prices and they are all over the place, some in the low $40's, others right around invoice at $43,471. I crafted my offer based on around a 5% discount, plus the trunk money. It would put me around $40,300 and I was debating offering $39,800 to see if I'm laughed at or countered. You may be able to do better than $38,000 though maybe the market for the TLX is better in your area. The car I'm test driving Thursday has been on that dealer's lot for around 4 months now.

Thanks. That's basically what I did with my standard offer of $1,000 at inception when I shopped leases. Kept that part fixed so only variable was payment.
36 Month Lease with 10,000 miles per year $0 Down - The minimum down is your 1st payment & fees = $863.19 Base Payment = $525.17 Total Payment with Sales Tax (10% of payment)= $577.69 End Residual is $26,535.00 or 58% Special Money Factor from Acura = 0.00088 or 2.11% MSRP = $45,750.00 Discounted Selling Price under Invoice = $42,636.00
Well aside from the MF/RV coming back as expected we're certainly off a ways from where I want to be. When you factor in the available dealer cash there's no discount from sticker at all. They are going to have to do much better....I can stay in an A4 cheaper, especially since I can buy down the MF as I did before.

Hello. I am working on a lease deal for a 2018 AWD A-Spec Red and need to know the September incentives, MF and residual. I am actually leasing two cars from one dealer (an MDX BASE SHAWD and a TLX-ASpec). Can I get both numbers for 36/15k? I offered them $850 with zero drive off and they said they would try to make it work. Curious if this is a good deal. I know there are lots of incentives for the MDX but saw nothing for the TLX.
Also, do we think there will be better lease support in Nov for TLX? I imagine they'll continue aggressive price on the '17 MDX but am worried about residual dropping.

I wanted to share details of my deal for others to give an idea of what the market is bearing (in PA anyway). I was targeting a sale price of $40,300 and was working with 2 dealers who were stuck on $40,800 and wouldn't budge further after exchanging numbers (unless you read my CCBA post and know one of them relented when they found they lost out).
I was ready to agree to terms at $40,800 when I decided to reach out to a 3rd to see if my expectations were out of line with the market. They came in immediately at $40,700. I asked them to do $40,500 to close the deal and it was done...no drama, no further negotiations, and only $200 off my target all along. I basically got the car for invoice ($43,471) less incentive. Pick it up Friday.
MSRP: $45,750 Sale Price: $40,500 (inclusive of $3,000 lease cash) MF: .00088 Term: 36/10 RV: 58%

And, thanks for sharing your deal details with us - certain to help someone down the road.
I don’t love that money factor! On the car I was offered a true zero drive off (sign and drive) of $540.10 inclusive of everything all fees and tax in zip 95833Here is the lease breakdown on the 2018 Acura TLX FRONT WHEEL DRIVE ASPEC that you are interested in. This is based on 36 months and 15,000 miles a year. I just feel like that’s a high payment for this car. I was shooting for $450. Am I being unrealistic?
Vehicle Price (MSRP):$43,750.00
Sale Price:$39,000.00
Down Payment:$0
Residual Value:$24,062.50
Monthly Base Payment:$498.94
Monthly Sales Tax (95833):$41.16
Total Monthly Payment:$540.10
for FWD A Spec. I thought they would show a little more love on the sale price given that we’re getting two cars but they won’t budge on the sale price of the TLX. Ah well. More waiting and searching. Thank you very much Michelle.
Looking to lease a 2018 ASPEC awd preferred 12k/36 months in the Austin (or Surrounding) Texas market. This is for my sister.
Right now a dealership in Austin quoted her $550 with $3k down.. i didn't get the rest of the numbers. But I was hoping we could negotiate the lease down to between $480-530 with a max down of $1500 and she has a 2006 RAV4 (v6 limited 95k miles).. that can probably get $2-3k.
Also important factor: she is a new dentist right out of school.. so she has a lot of loans ( ~$450k). I'm sure that her credit score is lower due to this.. not sure what the number is, I will update when I find out.
also so are there any rules regarding moving out of state with the leased car?
This is for my sister and it's a possibility that she could move out of state in a couple of years.

Sales tax is assessed against the entire selling price in Texas; this makes the lease payment more expensive.
Need to know the MSRP and selling price to calculate a payment.
Our recommendation is to limit the up front cash to just the first payment and registration costs - roll the taxes and fees into the payment.
Moving out of state may complicate the tax situation, as you'll likely have to pay taxes wherever she moves to.

Your getting a discount of around 11% inclusive of lease cash, which is roughly what I was able to net, so you're in the ballpark and did good I think. I didn't run the #'s but the payment looks about right for a mileage allotment of 15K. I am at $491 for 10K (inclusive of 10% tax) but the higher RV for less miles is helping me achieve that.
You are not likely to get an A-Spec down to $450 no matter what configuration you try, but especially one where 15,000 miles are needed.

For the 2018 TLX, we need to know the state you reside in, as there are regional numbers available this month.
