I am ordering a 2018 Q7 Premium Plus and am thinking of leasing. The sticker is 65,100 and he took 5% off and deducted my 1000 audi ownership bonus to come to a price of 60,845. The lease is for 36/10k and the money factor is .0021. Residual is 62%. they also want 2k down. Total payment will be 869.34 per month. Is that a fair deal? Am i missing anything?

Also, they have a premium plus model without adaptive cruise control in the 2017 model they are looking to move since it was stolen off their lot and now has 700 miles on it. Is the adaptive cruise control that great? I do commute on the freeway each day but just wanted to be sure it is worthwhile.

Is this a 2.0T or 3.0T P+?

My wife's Outback has adaptive cruise - it is great on long road trips. Haven't used it much in commuter traffic.

The "dealer rates" and the "base rates" are not the same - once you tell me which engine, I can provide the 'base rate' MF, which is what you want.

This is an ordered car? I'm not sure Audi allows you to 'lock in' the lease terms when you place the order. You'll have to accept the MF and residual when the car is delivered.

We suggest 6% off MSRP, for Audi, as a good price.

Hmmm. Interesting on the ordering part. I couldn't find a premium plus in the color with driver assistance package. I also liked it can be about 2-3G less than the showroom models because they had things I didn't want or need.
They did say if I decided not to take the car they bill your credit card $1500 which is returned once they sell it.

Thanks for all the help. I ended up ordering a 2018 premium plus with everything I wanted. I even got Galaxy Blue which I like better than ink blot blue. I went to three dealers armed with the info and got lots of wrong information. None of them would go more than 5% and believe me I pushed and played them off. Where I purchased it the dealer told me the cars sell well and it will take one out of their allotment. 69k sticker w 5% off and Audi rebate. I finally went with the 5% off and they wrote down that if I choose to lease they'll give me the base rate on MF. The base rate right now is what you quoted and not what two dealers told me earlier so your forum saved me a few bucks

Thanks! Now if I assumed an MSRP of 67,100 and wrestled a 7% discount to a adjusted capital cost of 62,403 + 995 = 63,398. With .00141, I get 818/month (base + tax.) This is for 42 months. Is this accurate on your end?

Also, how do I calculate how much I actually put down if I "max" out the MSDs? Also, it looks like monthly price dropped going 42 months. Is that Audi's sweet spot?

Each MSD is the monthly payment rounded up to the next highest $50 - so, $850 in your latest quote. Max 9 MSDs allowed = $7650

42 months - Add .00020 to MF and subtract 4% from residual (compared to 36 months)

It's a new color since you can't order the ink blot blue. I actually like it better.

Hi - I have been trying to work out a lease on a 2018 Q7 Premium Plus 3.0 in Northern VA and was given a significantly lower payment using Audi Premier Purchase. I'm told this acts similar to a lease and that we can turn the car in at the end of our lease term. Is this accurate and any watchouts on Premier Purchase vs. Lease?

This is a balloon note program that is offered in states, like VA, that tax the entire selling price of the car.

We don't know enough about the program to offer any advice on what to be wary about.
