    3yr/36k lease $0 drive off (not even first payment) and 35 payments of $260 a month tax incl. (6.25%) in MA.

    Very happy with it, I think it is a lot of car for the $$.

    I would like to lease a 2018 Camry XSE V6 with midnight black top, windchill pearl color and cockpit red seats. I went to a well known dealership in New Haven CT and the following are the numbers that were provided. MSRP is $39,059, the delears best price is $36,498. Fees are $299 doc fee, $650 bank acquistion, $198 registration, $209.57 cap tax. Residual value is $19,920 for 10k miles or $19,530 for 12k at 3 years. Money factor is .00030. I get a $750 rebate. I was told if I put $4,357 down the lease payments would be $409.45 (10k miles for 3 years) or $421.45 (12k miles for 3 years). I also have the option to finance the car with the same down payment amount for 72 months at 2.9%. Finance payment would be $530.47. Do you think these numbers are fare? I feel like they are a little high.

    I wouldn't give the dealer $4000+ to rent a vehicle for 3 years.

    51% (36/10 or 50% (36/12) and .00030 for the XSE V6.

    How long to do plan to keep the car? If longer than the lease term, best to just finance it and use the down payment.

    The payment quotes you got for the lease are pretty close to my calculations.

    The math is the math regarding the payment.

    It's better to just buy the car from the beginning if you plan to keep it longer than 3 years.

    looking at the Mazda CX-5 with a related question. 

    I understand that as a leasee you would not want to put extra money down up front. That said, What would be the downside of taking advantage of the Mazda zero drive off and financing the fees and first monthly payment. Other than adding the finance charge for the higher financed sum, with a very low interest rate, is there another disadvantage to the zero down at signing?

    Since we recommend the least money possible upfront, then no downside to your proposal

    Accord terms are similar, but no way to know how that will work out in real life, given the SETF residual thing.

    .00119 and 64% Take SETF residuals with a grain of salt. They don't residualize all options, making calculations almost impossible.

    Florida taxes the monthly payment on a lease, so the tax amount is not relevant. And, no reference to the acquisition fee. Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost used for the deal, and the specific residual amount.
