The payment calculation is exact, with that adjusted CAP.

With $2000 upfront, that doesn't look like much of a discount, after the rebate.

$2000
$462 1st payment
$595 acq.fee
$430 DMV (est)
$80 doc fee
then.. tax on CAP reduction/rebates.

That's about right. But, if you have a round number upfront, it's unlikely to match the upfront charges. You'll either have a surplus or shortfall to be applied to the adjusted CAP.

To get to $400/mo, before tax, the cap cost would have to be around $43,500, and that assumes all fees are paid up front.

We don't track pricing, but I'm not sure that 15% or more off sticker is possible.

But, you won't know unless you try.

Cons - Ally isn't interested in keeping you as a repeat customer, so the end of the lease process may be more strict
