    With my experience, make sure they are quoting you Chrysler Capital MF. If they are, then they are marking up the MF for their own profit.

    More than likely, they are quoting you Ally or US Bank numbers which give you more rebates, but have terrible MF/RESIDUALS. It can appear that they are saving you more money up front, but its just a shell game as you can see in your final proposed pmt.

    Hey, looking to get numbers on an 18 altitude MSRP 41,145.... negotiated price 33,500, 15k miles, 36 months, $0 Down, taxes and fees built in for zip code 11783- Seaford NY, tax is 8.625%. Building in $750 in overmileage from last Jeep. Monthly at dealer is 598? Don’t understand why it’s ao high with such a low neg price.

    Hi, I'm looking to lease a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee ALTITUDE 4X4 and this is what I got from the dealer. What am I missing? The quote includes monthly payment w/$4000 and $5000 down. MSRP is $42,425. Thank you!

    I used $36,326 for Adjusted CAP (sale price minus CAP reduction from rebate, minus $4000)
    That gives me $379/mo.+tax
    If your sales tax is 10%, then that's right on the money.
    That's just an estimate.. I don't know your tax rate, and without the upfront money broken down, I don't know where the tax on CAP reductions is applied.

    1) $800 is a puny discount on a new $40K plus vehicle.
    2) I wouldn't put $4000 upfront on a lease. With the $2500 rebate, you could just pay DMV and first payment upfront. (about $1000), and take the resulting $500/mo. payment

    Work on the discount, and ask for a itemization of fees, taxes and the Adjusted CAP cost.

    Still Looking at a High Altitude...dealer sent me the below which are Ally numbers. How do the MF and Residuals compare to what's available via Chrysler? Zip Code 77479.

    Any downside to Ally? Did they get rid of their lease buyout fee from a few years back? I usually don't keep vehicles until the end of the lease and trade them into dealers if the value makes sense...is that an issue with Ally? My other Jeep GC leases have been through CC.

    this is exactly the trim model and terms (36/10K) I am looking for. Do you mind breaking down the build/config with what options you did that gets you to that $53K number? And did you do the V8 (+$3295)?

    Looking at a 2018 Altitude. Have MF and residual information from dealer, just trying to negotiate the discount to MSRP. Currently at $3,500 off on $42,425 sticker. Anyone have recent experience with discounts for this model?

    .00019 MF and 54% residual
    SUM
    .00020 MF and 58% residual
    .00006 MF and 50% residual

    Add 1% for 10K/yr

    36 months should result in a lower payment

    Can somebody please explain residual value for me? I looked it up and am still a little confused.

    1) is it based on sticker/msrp or based on the final negotiated price ( dealer discounts plus reabates off sticker )?

    2) Which side of the percentage is the formula used? Meaning, if the residual value is 55% of a $30,000 vehicle, is the value at trade in ( or return of the vehicle ) $16,500 or $13,500
