I am new to all of this so any suggestions would help! What should I be looking to realistically negotiate/lower, what questions should I ask, and/or what do you suggest I counter with?

What lease term and how many miles per year is this quote for?

Ask the dealer what the $1000 at signing covers - it's possible there are some extra fees being added to the vehicle price you've shared. Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost.
