Someone mentioned $10,500 rebate and I’m trying to figure what the bank is and if they had the breakdown of the actual rebate? And was it only on the srt or all dodge Durango’s ???

I got the TFCU rebate and was told it was 7500 plus 1000 for competitor conquest and the Mf is .00175 and residual is 55% trying to get more info

I apologize in advance for not knowing car/lease/payment lingo. 

Is this a good deal? 

What should the residual be after? 

I would prefer to purchase, but can’t afford monthly payments even with my down payment and trade-in value (below). Which is why I’m considering leasing.

trade in $7500 (this is what they quoted me, although I think it’s worth more)
sweet spot is $300/mo

An ad like that likely includes incentives you won't be eligible for.
But, it never hurts to ask.

Take your car to Carmax and get a bid on it. Then, you'll know what it's worth, independent of a new car deal.

Also, no point in using all that money to put down on a lease. You can lease with only $1000 upfront, or less.

I get $517/mo, using the sale price as the adjusted CAP cost.

We'd need to see a breakdown of the charges and adjusted CAP to see how it matches up. Looks like it could be close.

dealer quoted me $900 down which includes first month and $490 per month for 39 months.

the dealer is also giving me a check for $875 to cover my last months payment on my current lease and to pay for my disposition. Can someone please verify if the money factor and residual are correct?

the million dollar question......is this a good deal?

My dealer is off today and is unable to get me that figure. I do remember him saying 40k and change  with acquisition and tax.   The bank is TFCU, teachers federal credit union. Does the deal sound good if let’s say the adjusted cap cost is $40,500?

Adjusted cap cost is $40,809.  If anyone can calculate this for me I would be forever grateful.  Car is being registered and leased in NY, transferring plates.

If it's a Credit Union, we can't verify their numbers.

But, using the numbers given, the Adjusted CAP cost would have to be around $42,700 to get to that $490 payment. That doesn't jive with the sale price/incentive numbers you were given, not even with tax, acquisition and whatever else they want to put on there.

That's $6000 more than your $36,700 number!

I understand what you are saying but it does not help me with deciding if this is a good deal or not.  I have a lease company offering an almost identical deal, except with the Jeep dealer I get an additional check for $875, which is about $22 per month over 39 months.  The way I see it, paying $468 with $900 at signing for a $46925 msrp durango with the packages I want does not appear to be a bad deal.

Good deal or not, before I sign a contract on a $46K deal, I want the numbers to make sense.
