I wasn’t able to get to a dealer in March so can you provide updated information on a SRT Durango for April for 3yr/12k miles per year and 3yr/10k miles per year and whether there are any incentives?

    Thanks
.00015 MF and 55%/56% residual We don't have the incentive information
I was at the dealer in MD and they quoted me .00057 on the MF.  The residual was spot on. Was the MF you quoted for MD or another region or was he just raising the MF?
No - Chrysler allows their dealers to mark up the MF as much as .00042 for extra profit. I'll let you do the math ....
Ok thanks, I was at the dealer for hours because the MF made a big difference in payment (like $100 a month) and he kept saying that is what Chrysler had in the system for MF and I kept arguing with them and was about to leave. After hours of negotiating, I got the payment down to what I wanted based on what’s I had in mind with the lease calculator and the original agreed upon price of the vehicle.  They had to move another $1500 off the vehicle, about $8k off, to get me at the payment I had calculated based on .00015 MF.  Thanks for all of your help.

The money factor bump should have only made a $30-$40 difference in payment, though.

You are right, it was about $48 more. There were a bunch of other fees in there I wasn’t willing to pay for. In the end I got the payment I wanted, it was a lot of painful back and forths with me telling them what they were telling me didn’t make any sense. Lucky for me I am a CPA so I know numbers, I feel bad for people that don’t know how leases work.

It always amazes me how people will go into a $40K+ deal, with no actual knowledge of... anything. :s

We do - from 24 to 48 months.

What term and how many miles per year are you looking for?

Be advised that 36 months is the sweet spot from Chrysler Capital.

We're not 100% sure which way to go for miles. At 12000 it looks like 55% Residual ($39556) and 0.50 per mile excess charge. At 15000 it looks like 52% Residual ($37398) and 0.20 per mile excess charge. At 18000 it looks like 50% residual ($36048) and 0.20 per mile excess charge.

I don't see money factor on the sheet. They claim .00015.

    MSRP $71920 / Vehicle Price $65533: With $18500 down, payments for 12000 mile was $274.36, 15000 mile was $311.53 and 18000 mile was $347.44.

Forty-thousand foot view, is this a good way to go? The monthly payment amount on a five year loan does not look exciting right now.

No way would I make an $18K down payment on what is, effectively, a rental. That's $500/mo.

A $70K vehicle is going to be expensive to lease or buy.

The difference between 12K/yr and 15K/yr is only 2%, not 3%.

Hello, looking for residual and mf for 2018 Durango GT AWD with 36 month and 15K miles. Based in Minnesota. Dealer has quoted me at $419 pmt with $1200 out of pocket for licensing and first months pmt. Is this a decent lease deal? Debating between Jeep GC Limited with same terms except for 39 months at $424 pmt.

With my past few leases, I have been fortunate enough to exit early without negative equity and I'm tiring to determine what vehicle would put me in a better position. Thank you in advance.

    We don't track pricing.

We do not recommend using up front money to lower the payment; it doesn't change the total cost of the lease, and you could lose that down payment if the car is stolen or totaled.

OK, finally came to terms on my lease - let me know what you guys think:

18 Citadel Platinum AWD with tow, tech and Hemi packages
    53,925 MSRP
    50,436 negotiated price

Here's where the details get dicey - there were incentives on the vehicle, they list $7250 in cap cost reduction. I know $1050 of that is the auto program, and there's another $2000 in dealer incentive. Is the rest just the amount that was negotiated downward from MSRP?

At any rate, the final figures were as follows:

I paid NY tax up front (8.856%), along with the acquisition (895) and a BS filing fee of $300, along with some other administrative NYS related stuff (inspection, reg, etc.). Total $4200 out of pocket.

The car is then $513/mo for 36/12k.

One thing that really didn't sit well with me is that the figures jumped from what we had originally discussed last month, 507, to 594. This the dealer claimed was the result of financing through Chrysler Capital changing, so the second set of figures were put through using a credit union as the lessor instead.

Does this make sense? Can the financial incentives change that much from one month to another to end up with a 20% different in price?

No idea... since your numbers aren't from a Chrysler Capital lease.

Usually, if it's listed as CAP cost reduction, then it's rebates and/or cash upfront from you.

No idea... since your numbers aren't from a Chrysler Capital lease.

Usually, if it's listed as CAP cost reduction, then it's rebates and/or cash upfront from you.

I figured as much, thanks. Do you guys have the figures for Chrysler Capital for an '18 Durango Citadel Anodized Aluminum AWD? Looking at 36/12 in NY.

Please can I get the MF and RES for the R/T awd and the SRT.
    36/12k.
    Located in Wisconsin, 54495.

    Thanks.

Also a quick question on purchase location. For instance if I were to lease this from a dealer in Illinois, would I be under their region incentives and such or would it be based off my home address.

    Thanks again.

I know I asked this last month but didn't make a deal so wondering if the numbers changed. Was looking for res  MF and incentives on Durango r/t awd. 36/12, 54495 Wisconsin. Appears they aren't giving the 2000 lease cash anymore. Or do i need to be more patient since it's only the first?

If you are checking the company website, they often take down incentives at first, then load the new programs in... give it time.
