Hi all, I'm considering leasing a 2018 Pacifica soon. May I please ask what's the MF & residual for the following trims/terms?

    36/12 Limited
    36/12 Limited Hybrid

I'm in the bay area, CA.

    Thanks a lot!
  • Not sure if this is the place to post, but I'm being offered a new 2018 Pacifica L for $23,500.  I checked kbb and TrueCar and both seem to make it sound like it's a good deal.

Does it sound like a good deal?  Should I haggle more?  Any scams to look out for on taxes fees etc....

Can you please provide RV and MF for Pacifica Hybrid, 48/10? They seems to promote 48 months on the chrysler website so I am wondering if that is a supported term. Thanks!

    Standard MF and 48% residual.

None of the hybrids have what I would consider a "supported" lease.

Ask the dealer what bank they are using for their lease quote, and what the adjusted cap cost is for that payment.

OK just leased a 2018 Pacifica Touring L.

    MSRP 35495 (base) + 895 (audio pack or something? lots of USB charging ports) + 495 (8 seats) + 195 (keysense) + 1095 (destination)

$2k rebates - that was the max I could get. Not sure about the $5k.

    0 down, 39 m, 12k/y, $450/m. Added the $650 warranty (scratch/damage waiver or something?), making it $468/m. My credit score is 800+.

    CA bay area, 9.25% tax.

Paid 0 and drove the car back home. Not sure if the $650 warranty is worth it?

    Congrats!

Generally, we suggest you avoid the 'scratch and dent' warranties. You might want to look into cancelling it, if you can.

Yes I was told that warranty can be canceled at any time. I think that includes tire/rim/body. Should I shop around, or it's fine not to buy any at all? Dealer said when I return the car, there might be bill if there is major scratch and dent etc.

PS: my wife will be driving this car most of the time. She has a track record of making curbed wheels. Last year it only took 1 month for her to total a brand new tire by adding a sidewall cut.

what should one do when the dealer you are speaking with (in Floirida) says their Chrysler capital numbers are different to the ones shown here?

I've also had a few dealers use a different lease finance company because they claim they are getting better prices. When I ask them to run the chrysler capital numbers they come back higher, and use higher % and lower residual etc?

US Bank and Ally often offer better payments than Chrysler Capital, due to the large incentives available.

  • Is this right? This is from the Chrysler dealer after I asked them about the MF and interest rate for a lease with CC?

”I rechecked the Money factor is 0.00035 in Chrysler Capital multiplied by 2400 that gives us 0.84 which is the buying or selling rate but to use it as interest rate you have to move to comma 1 digit to the right so it will give us an interest rate of 8.4% the buying/ selling rate on Ally for 36 months 12k miles is 0.280 which converted to an interest rate is 2.8% that is why the price quote with Ally is better than with Chrysler Capital by around 40$ ”

So a dealer I just started negotiating with is telling me their MF is 0.00077 ... and he specifically said its from Chrysler Capital. How is this possible, I thought MF was national, and its standard for all dealers? I'm in Los Angeles if it makes a difference. Should I argue back with them, or insist on them going to Ally and/or US Bank? or just go to next dealer?

Also, just got all the details from dealer:

    2018 Pacifica Limited
    10k/miles
    36 month lease
    0.00077 MF
    55% Residual
    MSRP $46,785
    CAP Cost $42,574
Total Price (all taxes, fees, and etc): $45,169.40

Giving me $3,500 in rebates (to cover drive-off stuff)

$0 down / "out of pocket"

I'm Los Angeles, so high taxes of course

He's at $507/month (inclusive of taxes)

How much can I Push on this

.00035 MF is equivalent to 0.84% APR, not 8.4%.

.00280 MF is equivalent to 6.72% APR

But, even with that, it doesn't mean the Ally deal might not be better. With bigger incentives and a higher residual, it all comes down to the math. No matter how math-challenged your dealer might be.

    $45,980 MSRP
    Cap Reduction of $3,130
Some other manufacturer/dealer rebates and incentives of $3.5k

Some other manufacturer/dealer rebates and incentives of $3.5k

    $0down/0 Drive-off

$470/month, inclusive of taxes (Los Angeles 9.5%)

    How does that look

What is the selling price, before the cap reduction and incentives?

Did you get a good deal? Be sure to come back and let us know! Post a pic of your new purchase or lease!

    Hello,
My wife has been looking at a Chrysler Pacifica touring. We would like to lease for 39 months @15000 miles /yr.

    From Dealer:
    MSRP: $34,685

EPRICE: $29,999 ( this price is using Chrysler Capital financing rebate and two coupons that are time sensitive )

Can you please let me know The money factor and residual value?

    Thank you!

    Robert
