Why am I not finding any dealers that are willing to go to the .00071 MF on the 2018 296 hp 4 cylinder automatic coupe for 7500 miles per year for 36 months?  They are honoring the 63% residual but thats set by the bank.  How can I get them to lower the MF?  Any suggestions?

Calculate the difference between payments... between their MF and .00071.

Make an offer that reflects that difference. Don't even mention the MF or worry about it.

So, if it's a $50 difference and their offer is $799/mo., offer them $749/mo. Once you know the calculation, you can quit focusing on the money factor. Leave it out of the discussion, and focus on the end result.

That may not work.

There isn't really a base AWD..
The lowest level AWD is the 380 model.

The sales tax on a lease in FL is assessed against the monthly payment, so you can ignore the tax amount on the worksheet.

Ask the dealer for the cap cost used with the lease payment quotes, and a specific breakdown of how they arrived at that number from the selling price.

I have the mf and residual you guys used, but as I understand mf on a coupe is .00003 for 15/36 MF and you told me .00043. I need clarification on this matter please!

The bottom line is how much you will be paying at lease inception and how much is the monthly payment. The lease quote we prepared for you requires $3000 total due at signing, then 35 monthly payments of $769 (including all taxes and fees). We used a net cap cost of $67,079.11, a 56% residual, and a money factor of .00043 to structure that quote.

Politely tell them thanks for the information, but you won't be going forward with a deal until you get the base MF. They know what the rate is; no need to share it with them or explain how you know it. (see above posts for the MF and residual value)

In addition, they gave you the cap cost, but not the bridge from the selling price to that number (acquisition fee? doc fee? junk fees?).

Progress is being made, but there is still information to get from them before you know it's a good (or bad) deal.
