My dealer quoted me this on 39/12:

    - $1199/mo (6% tax)
    - 72,625 msrp + $2314 due on signing (1199 + 1115 fees)

I did the math and they are charging over 12x higher rent charge than jag's numbers! Am I wrong or are they trying to make tons of money off me on the financing backend?

Are you assuming the sale price is full MSRP?

    Hi Michaell,

    2018 F-Pace S
    MSRP: $78,736.00
Negotiated: Not sure yet (what's a reasonable discount to expect?)

Looking for info on 36/15 and 36/20

Hi - with thanks to your guidance on what to ask for in terms of MF(vs typically inflated) I was able to get what I believe is a reasonably accurate quote for S trim level - but monthly payment still seems high. If you could validate the following figures, taken straight from the Disclosure Worksheet they gave me:
    MSRP(incl dest. charge) = $64,910
    Selling Price $62,164
Monthly Lease Payment (including monthly "use" tax @ 9% I guess for state of PA? ) = $861.26
Again - seems high? I noticed on line item on the Worksheet, right under where the listed the MF of .00001 for the S trim (36 mos/10k mi) there was a line noting "monthly lease charge" of .96 - is this expected?

Thanks for taking time to validate quote. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional detail

Monthly lease charge is the finance portion of the lease payment: $0.96/mo. Virtually zero (as expected with money factor of .00001).

PA charges an extra 3% sales tax on leases, ergo 9% total.

If all other charges are paid upfront, and the adjusted CAP cost is the same as the selling price, then I get a payment of $790/mo.+tax or $861/mo. (look at that!).

thank you kyfdx - and yes, adjusted CAP cost is the same as selling price. I appreciate you validating the monthly payment - but still too high for my tastes. I guess only way to manipulate price, given very low MF is to negotiate down on selling price. As it appears, given my options, it looks to be @ 1,100 over invoice. Would you know of any MY18 incentives available as of yet?

    Thanks again!

We don't have any Jaguar incentive information.

Not likely to be much, if any, on the 18's at this point.

  • Hi there! My wife and I looked at an F-Pace this past weekend and found the numbers to be quite off the other cars in its class. Lease numbers per the dealer for a Prestige with 39/12: $54K price with 3K down comes out to $784/mo (which feels high to me). They told me 48% residual which sounds about right per this thread. All the other cars in it's class lease at 55-60% residuals. Can you please tell me the MF for the above terms? And if the 48% residual is accurate? Thanks!!
