    MF, res, and incentives for 2018 Jetta 1.4S Automatic. 36mo/7500miles. 33027.

    Secondly, is this a good deal on above car: $213/mo, $2000 due at signing. Sale price $17,462.

    .00001 MF and 47% residual $3000 dealer lease incentive What is the MSRP? Adjusted CAP cost?
    MSRP is $20,815. They didn’t give me the CAP cost. The payment without taxes is 203, if I multiply by 36 and add the residual doesn’t that give me the Adj Cap? If so it’s $16,674. 

    On a a separate note, the MF they gave me matches what you said but they gave me 45% res.

    you need to learn about leasing before you sign anything. That is not how the cap cost is calculated.

    Trying to learn that’s why I’m here. The MF looks great. Residual doesn’t seem to be. Price is 3k below MSRP that seems reasonable. If you could elaborate on what makes it a poor deal. Trying to make sense of it all and figure out what I can negotiate and what I can’t.

    1. residual value of 47% for 7500 needs to be confirmed with dealer
    2. discount from msrp of 3000 is the lease cash; you need at least 8% off msrp (it is a leftover model) + the lease cash
    3. you can lease a 2019 model for less than your current deal
