Can someone provide the numbers for a GTI SE automatic for 36/10 in 08007? I'm trying to set a baseline here. 

Also, I'm eligible for a supplier discount  through VW, which is $500 below invoice, plus any incentives. I should be eligible for the $1,000 Summer Smile and $500 (for a soon-to-be graduate of a bachelor or graduate program).

My local dealer has an SE with an Msrp of 33,435 listed for $30,140. They advised me this is probably better than the supplier discount. From what I've read here, (http://www.vwpartnerprogram.com/vw/partner/program/partner/faq), I should be able to stack the supplier discount with any other incentives. They're trying to make it sound as if I can one incentive or the other, but not both. 

Does anyone have any experience with the supplier discount through VW? The original price they quoted me last week without discounts was terrible, so I'm inclined to not deal with them.

Destination fee is part of the MSRP.

I know folks don't comment too often on pricing. But I was also looking at the vw suppliers pricing ($500 below invoice) - and just wanted to share that you should be able to get better pricing by not using that program.

As an example on a GTI SE - the MSRP I was looking at was $33,065 and per KBB the invoice is $31,678. So take $500 off invoice and the new sales price would result in a saving of $1,387 from MSRP.

It hasn't been too hard to get a couple of dealers to give around $4,000 off MSRP + $1,000 smile and drive offer = ~$5,000 off MSRP. And I'm in CA!!

Also, check if you have access to TrueCar pricing - it has resulted in a couple around $300 less than the above.
