Hi! Can you please tell me if I’m getting a good deal? This is for 36/10 in NJ 07442. Thanks in advance!
$2,500 due at signing $368.90 month
12.5% discount before incentives and base MF. That's really really good. What dealer is this? Yesterday, I couldn't get 2 different dealers to discount that much off demo models, let alone new ones.

Hi, could I have the numbers/incentives for a '18 X2, sDrive 28i, 36/10k in 77449. I saw a demo/loaner with less than 5k miles with MSRP of $40,395 with $7k off. I wonder what the lease amount will be with $0 down.

You'll need the adjusted cap cost (with taxes and fees rolled in), in order for us to give you a payment.
Could I have the numbers and incentives in 63146 for 2018 BMW X2 xDrive28i? MSRP is $44,445. Listed discount of $3,920 for price of $40,525. 36/12k lease. Salesperson says she can get to $499 including taxes.

How much due at signing?
I neglected an additional credit ... final advertised sell price is $37,000
Here is an initial offering from a dealer in Arizona. How do you think of it as the starting point? May have to focus on getting a little more MSRP discount. How much room do you think there might still be? Targeting 15% before $3,750 rebate reasonable?
This is not a loaner. <20 miles on it.
2018 X2 sDrive (FWD) MSRP: $40,384.00 ($39995+ dealer installed tint) Sale Price (before rebate) : $35,500 (12% off) Rebate: $3,750 Adjusted cap cost: $31,750.00 (21.4% off) MF:.00222 (initial asking for removal of the markup was turned down) 36/12 residual: 58% Zero drive off: $456+tax=$495
For reference, I started with an inquiry on a loaner special with 4,400 miles on it. Only has basic info as I mainly just asked to structure the price for the first one following this one. 2018 X2 sDrive (FWD) MSRP $37395 Cap cost $29328 with 59% residual $3000+startup fees ($6375), $219 + tax/ month

This is not a loaner.
The reason you are getting 12% off is because they are clawing some of that back with the inflated MF.
If the first offer is with $0 drive off, then the CAP cost will be higher than $31,750 - doc fee, acquisition fee, first payment, registration costs all have to be accounted for.
Also, the lease credit on the sDrive is only $2750; it's $3750 on the xDrive. Confirm those numbers with your dealer.
On the loaner offer, I wouldn't go in with $6000+; first payment and registration costs only, is our recommendation.

$3375 in fees?? How is that possible and still not include tax?
Your adjusted cap cost on the loaner is about $1k too high (assuming the 29328 is after 2750 incentive is deducted and $1100 mileage penalty is added back on). Your goal should be 20% off, which is $29,916, minus the $2750 incentive, $27,166, plus the $1100 penalty for 4400 miles, $28,266. Plus $925 bank fee is a total of 29191. Residual $22,063 Depreciation per month $198 Rent charge $113.78 Total payment $311.78 plus tax and tags

Thanks a lot for the insights, Michaell. $3,750 is $2,750 plus $1,000 conquest.

Thanks a lot for the advice, qbrozen. It's very helpful.
Ah, $1k conquest changes my numbers. Under $300 plus tax and tags. That would be a great deal. You may not get them down 20% but you should get close. I'm at about 19% off one I'm going to see today.
By the way, you can also ask they waive the bank fee in exchange for a .0005 bump in MF. Only saves about $50 over the life of the lease, but, hey, every bit counts. And could save even more if they are padding the bank fee, as they often do.

BMW dealers cannot mark up the acquisition fee - it is fixed at $925

You are correct about the waiver part.
But, it rarely saves money, unless you have a really low price + a short term. It's hard to get the math to work, otherwise. We might be in that range, here, though.
BMW used to allow acquisition fee markups, back when the fee was $625 or $725. But, that has been at least 5-8 years ago now, I think.
Zip 07306 2018 BMW X2 36/15 was told RV 59% was MF 0.00182 Is this correct? What are the incentives?
Sheet is accurate. For 15k, it is 56%. $4750 incentives is correct with conquest/loyalty added in.
The only way you'll do better is to get more of a discount. It is an '18, so the 9% off they are giving you before incentives is not enough. Push for another $1k off to drop to about $480/mo with $480 due at signing. Or, better yet, look for an ex-loaner and shoot for a $400/mo deal.
'11 GMC Sierra 1500; '98 Alfa 156 2.0TS; '08 Maser QP; '67 Coronet R/T; '13 Fiat 500c; '20 S90 T6; '22 MB Sprinter 2500 4x4 diesel; '97 Suzuki R Wagon; '96 Opel Astra; '11 Mini Cooper S
Yes I got the $50 difference too. What do you think about my calculation?
You've added a random MSRP, that doesn't match either one from above. Your residual is wrong for 36/15.. It's 56% (of the correct MSRP) Tax is part of the amounts listed in the right hand column. It's collected upfront in NJ, and they already added it into the CAP cost, so don't figure it again.
You have to use the correct numbers, if you want the correct payment.
Here you go. leasehackr.com/calculator?make=BMW&msrp=44345&sales_price=42528&months=36&mf=.00182&dp=0&doc_fee=0&acq_fee=925&taxed_inc=4750&untaxed_inc=0&rebate=0&resP=56®_fee=0&sales_tax=0&memo=&totalLeaseTax_radio=true&miles=15000&msd=0
Trick on that calculator, though, is that I had to roll taxes and fees into the sale price so it shows just first month at signing. If you change the MF to .00192, you'll get $508.

Does’nt the sales tax get adding to the monthly lease in NJ? Also do the taxes look correct? I have not seen terms like Taxable fees, Taxes, non tax fees. Are these just license fees, registration fee, title etc? I asked them for the line items.

Thank you for all your help.
No.. look back at their document. Taxes have already been added. NJ taxes the sum of the payments, but collects it upfront. Your $500.63 is the same number I get.
