Add 2% for 36/12

Changing residuals is not something the dealer can do.

Here are the initial two deals I’m getting from my usual dealership from where I’ve leased my last two 535s. Waiting to hear back on a competing dealer closer to home.

I am confused about something: if I am leasing an X3 from an out of state dealer, which MF, RVs and incentives would apply?  The ones for the state where the dealership is located or the ones for the state where the vehicle will be registered?

The dealer location takes precedence.

But, the X3 numbers look to be national, this month.

Yes I live in MD. They can treat my lease turn in as a trade so I pay the tax on the difference instead of the full price of the car.

With that adjusted CAP, that is the correct payment (.00165 MF and 58% residual)
There is a $1250 incentive, which gives you $3050 of working cash.

If your discount is $2950, then that is the place to save some money. Go for a lower sale price.

BMW allows dealers to markup the money factor by .00040 max (.00165 to .00205)

So, BMWFS sets the base rate.. and, they don't control that. But, they do control whether to markup the rate.

I've been going back and forth with a dealer on an X3xDr30i in Pittsburgh, PA. Below are his latest numbers:

36/10
MSRP = $51,295
Sale Price=$49,315.02
59% Residual
MF=0.00185

I've been able to duplicate the lease payment ($671.70 which for whatever reason only factors in a cap reduction of 2219.99 rather than 2400 from a loyalty incentive and employer program). The sale price is only ~4% off of MSRP and the MF is higher than the current 0.00165 base rate. So, not good on either.

I see people on here getting 5-10% off MSRP and the Edmunds TMV for this SUV is $48,389. I feel like the dealer is totally feeding me a line by saying they're only "holding $200 in gross" and there is "not much markup on new cars".

I've seen in this forum to only accept the base MF but what about the sale price? What is a reasonable dealer discount off the MSRP before rebates and such are applied?
