    Hello, does BMW normally offer extra leasing deals during the labor day weekend? Or is it going to be the same offers available now? I'm planning to lease a 2019 X3. Should I wait till labor day weekend for a better deal?

    Looking for feedback on this deal: 2019 X3 xDrive 30 in Boston, MA area. The local dealer's website shows $8500 in BMW cash on this car before negotiating a discount. They are offering me:

    MSRP $52,965.
    15k, 36 months
    Net Cap Cost $44,165 (discount $8500 from MSRP)
    MF .00145
    Residual 55%
    Pmt: $555 includes MA 6.25% sales tax
    Due at signing is approx $2200, (first months payment, acquisition fee, and govt fees.)

    Here's my questions:

    1. I see in the threads above that I should negotiate 15% off MSRP before any factory cash or incentives. I am trying to get to a payment of $525, tax inclusive AND rolling in the $995 acquisition fee. This means I need to negotiate a cap cost of $42,165, and it lowers my cash at signing to approximately $1206. Am I being unreasonable?

    2. Is there any downside to rolling in the $995 acquisition fee into the lease other than increasing the payment? My thoughts are that rolling the acquisition fee into the lease protects me in case the car is somehow a total loss through theft or accident.

    Thanks for any input.

    Do you think there is any further room to negotiate? Also is it of any negotiating benefit I will be willing to turn in my X1 early 1 month that has only 20,000 miles used on a 30,000 mile allowed 3 year lease?

    The dealer might be willing to waive the last payment, but it's their decision.

    What is the cap cost?

    I'd skip using the trade equity as cap reduction; you'll lose that money if the car is stolen or totaled. Have the dealer cut you a check for the $5K.
