We are looking at doing a build so that we can do the BMWPC experience, should I still be able to negotiate the price and receive any current or maybe future credits/incentives?
We're also looking for the MF and RV for an X3 xDrive 30i with an MSRP around 57k or the X3 M40i with MSRP around 62k for a 36/15 lease. Also if there are any available credits/discounts. Zip code 75068.
Thank you much.
.00145 MF and 55% residual $2000 lease credit
PC delivery should not affect your negotiations. You should be able to get the same price as you would for any other order. Check with a dealer to see when the 2019 model order book closes.
Michaell and kyfdx, thank you for all your continued help. I'm not quite sure how to use a lease calculator so I wanted to run this by you...
I'm in 91505 and ordered a custom build X3 M40i back in June, when the lease terms for 36/10 were .00165 MF/59% residual/$2000 lease credit. The car has now arrived at the dealer, and I will pick up this weekend. This dealer locks in the terms in the month the car is ordered and the deal is made, but will adjust if the terms are more favorable in the month the car is picked up. I understand from your recent info that as of this weekend the current terms would now be .00145 MF and 58% residual, still with $2000 lease credit (is this correct, or are they about to change?).
I negotiated a selling price of $58,750 (MSRP $65,170) minus a $2750 lease/loyalty credit (don't know why they offered me $2750 credit instead of the standard $2000, but not questioning a good thing).
Can I ask which month's terms would be more favorable to me, June (.00165/59%) or August (.00145/58%)?
As I understand it, my drive off cost would be (does this sound correct?): 1st months payment of $XX? License fee $688.00 Bank acquisition Fee $925.00 doc fee $85.00 Ca tire fee $8.75 auto vehicle reg service $30.00 Doc fee tax $8.08 acquisition fee tax $87.88 cap reduction tax of XX?
I believe you guys recommend rolling the bank acquisition fee into the monthly payment, but in the interest of simplicity and not pushing the dealer too hard on everything I plan on paying that up front.
You guys make a potential intimidating process SO much easier, thanks again.

.00165/59% = $643/mo, before tax .00145/58% = $642/mo
As my mother used to tell me, "6 of 1, 1/2 dozen of the other"
Michaell, can I also just ask about the cap reduction tax... I think I understand that's basically sales tax on any down payment you make (above the fees and first month payment), but does it also apply to a "lease credit", like the current $2000 lease credit in Los Angeles? For example if I put $0 down but get that $2000 lease credit, do I still pay a cap reduction tax on that lease credit, calculated using the regular sales tax rate?
Hi - I am seeing in attached cap cost as $4501 on demo car so not able to understand if amount on monthly and RV is right
Can you please educate me
The CAP reduction is what's left over from the $5650 upfront money, after deducting first payment and $799 of "upfront charges".
Where are you having the car shipped from? I'll guess the $799 is a dealer fee? Also, no mention of the $925 acquisition fee. Or, sales tax?
Are you in NJ?
Yes that is correct .. I am in NJ Is that monthly price and RV correct then
I don't know, because they haven't given you all of the numbers. It is probably close, but we need the adjusted CAP cost, tax amount, acq.fee, etc, etc.

Yes, tax is on any CAP reduction, whether rebates, customer incentives or down payments.
Can you please confirm the August lease Incentives and Loyalty for a 2019 xDrive30i SUV in 01430? We're seeing conflicting information online including in an email from BMW yesterday, "$3,500 APR Credit for the 2019 BMW X3." Is this credit the total of Incentive + Loyalty, or is there additional Loyalty $ on top of the $3,500 figure? Thank you very much! :-)

APR credit is for finance, not lease Loyalty on finance would add another $1500 to the $3500

Adding up the numbers you've provided, then subtracting the $3500 incentive = $47017
Using that as the adjusted CAP, $546.10/mo.
Ask to see the numbers on a deal sheet, with that adjusted CAP cost, and all should become clear. I can't tell you why you are off, because I can't see your calculations. If you are doing the calculations yourself, you should have an adjusted CAP cost.
Can you please help me with residual, MF, lease cash, and loyalty bonus for an X3? If you have the numbers for X1, X2, X4 as well, that would be awesome!

Hi, Thanks for all the great information! I’m looking at ordering a custom build 2020 X3 M40i. I believe the MF and residuals are currently the same as the 2019s. Are the incentives also the same? Zip is 07960.

As I understand it, my drive off cost would be (does this sound correct?):
1st months payment of $XX?
License fee $688.00
Bank acquisition Fee $925.00
doc fee $85.00
Ca tire fee $8.75
auto vehicle reg service $30.00
Doc fee tax $8.08
acquisition fee tax $87.88
cap reduction tax of XX?
