I was just quoted for mini S hardtop 4dr (premium trim) leasing 7.5/36
$32400 cap
but with $1000 down comes out to 433 mo.+ tax. 
My calculations aren’t adding up and I think it’s a crap deal. What number do you get for those specs?

I just found out here in Chicago between the state, county and city tax I would have to pay 18% tax on my monthly payment if I lease. The dealer suggested I do a "Owners Choice" program which he says mimics a lease, but avoids the extra tax. My rate would go down to 9.5%. Will the Money Factor and residual be the same as the ones you gave me for a lease? Is this basically the same as a lease?

It's similar but not exactly the same, but I agree about the tax benefits.

Unfortunately, we don't have the details for the Owners Choice program.

I didn't calculate the drive off - I added the fees to the sales price.
