MSD they said they would lower .00005 instead of .00010 and max is 7 MSD. Is that accurate?

No 39 month residuals from BMW.

Have heard that MSDs have been reinstated - max 7, each of which lower the MF .00005 (.00035 total deduct).

The old program allowed max 7 @ .00007 reduction each.

Do we have a 30 month residual on 2019 40i X5?
Someone reported a quote on another website, and oddly it was much cheaper than their 24 month and 36 month proposal at that dealership. Unless it is a mistake. I don't see how that's possible.

Why would I do that, then I pay interest and taxes on the 925. Fees arent residualized.

anyone have any experience with high milage leases and how they work. BMW says you can modify to your desired milage but is it nothing more than buying prepaid miles at .20/mile?

Yes, the extra miles will cost you, up front, and are deducted from the calculated residual.

I don't know the rate, but .20/mile is not out of line.

I see another poster above saying that we should put as little down as possible including the acq fee. At an interest equivalent of 4.5% which is not subsidized, should we try to put as much down as we can afford to save on interest?

If you totaled the car, you can walk away from any lease obligation? Is that true?

Yes, you can walk away, but you don't get any of your upfront money back.

So, if you put $10K upfront on a lease, and totaled it three months later, you may have just paid $4000/mo. to the drive the vehicle.
