With those numbers, $589/mo.+tax. That is pretty close, but a few dollars off.
Appears they removed the money factor markup from the first quote.

7% off MSRP would be $1575 lower selling price, and would knock another $50/mo. off that payment.
That would at least be reasonable, considering the high cost of registration/sales tax in WA.

If moving from TX to PA, definitely wait to lease until you get to PA. TX collects all the tax upfront. Once you get to PA, they will then tax the monthly payment, and it won't matter that you've already paid full tax on the car in TX.

Tax credits allow the dealer to reduce the tax rate applied from 6.25% down to 1.25%.

As the tax is applied to the entire selling price, this can save significant money ($2500 on a $50,000 transaction price).

last week I wrote a post here, after discovering this board, AFTER I leased a new 3 series for what I discovered was a high price.
I originally was at $4,200 down with $579 a month
on a MSRP of $53,400+ on a 36 month lease with 15k miles for the year.
after reading everyone else’s deals, I got the deposit I left refunded and spent the past week searching many other dealerships.
yesterday I finally closed a new deal...
same MSRP as stated above, same 15k mileage and everything else, it’s a build, so brand new.
$ 2,300 down, which includes 1st month and taxes.
$ 552 a month.
WOW, I saved myself almost $3,000 by coming here.
thank you to everyone who helped out and saved me a tremendous amount of cash.
Also, I’m in NY, and our taxes are insanely high, all things considered, I feel like I received an absolutely amazing deal and I couldn’t be happier.
I had horrible credit just a few short years ago, I paid off every last penny of my debts, built up my credit to be in the mid 700’s and I never thought in my wildest dreams I’d get approved for a new car, let alone be driving a brand new BMW.

Money factors can be marked up by .00040 (and, many dealers will attempt to do so)

My guess there is a per mile deduction of the residual of .25 (similar to demo or loaner vehicles). In fact, if I use the 15K residual of 58%, then subtract $2250, I get $26,141 on the nose.

I get $580/mo, tax included, with those numbers.

If I bump the MF to .00205, which is the max allowed, I get $609/mo with tax.

There must be a small difference in the cap cost if the dealer quote is higher than that.

Tell them they need to use the base MF of .00165 or you'll find another dealer.

If new, not a loaner, that is a very good discount. What MF are they using before MSDs? Be sure to sign up for BMWCCA to get a $500 post-sale rebate.

If that is correct, then it looks like they marked up the money factor a little. Of course, the discount is really good.
