The discount / MF hike is probably a wash; just means the salesman gets a smaller commission and the F&I guy a bigger one.

Looks like a solid deal to me.

Also, how much off the MF is normal for each MSD?

Normal for them to WANT to mark it up, yes. Certainly not mandatory.

Reduction is .00005 per SD. Max of 7, for a total of .00035 reduction.

Tell them you want the base MF, or you'll find another dealer.

Then follow through.

NY here, interested in financing a 2019 BMW 330i xDrive m sport. Sticker price online looks to be around 54k. Was curious what kind of deal BMW typically gives in December (my lease is up in December with my c300) what kind of discount off the MSRP should I roughly expect in December.

Everything I see on this forum is always lease deals, is this car not a good car to own?

BMW, like most luxury makes, would prefer their customers lease rather than buy, as that makes them a captive audience.

We don't have any predictions for what the programs will look like at the end of the year. You could, I suppose, go back to the beginning of this thread and see what the deals looked like last December.

And, look at the 2018 3-series thread for information there, as well.

Looking at leasing a demo/loaner 2019 330i sedan with 4000 miles on it, in zip code 30033. Going for 36/10k.

Should the MF and Residual % be any different than a new car, or should they be the same?

I have been using .00145 and 61% in my calcs, but these finance managers keep coming back with figures that don't match up. Are they given license to monkey with those numbers because it's a loaner from last year's stock?

The residual will be reduced by $0.25/mile, to account for the current mileage
But, .00145 MF and 61% residual is where you start.

BMW allows dealers to markup the rate by .00040, for extra profit.

Thanks for that info. I walked away from a deal in TN because the finance mgr claimed his dealership never goes below .00185 because of the market they operate in. Found a similar deal in Atlanta where they gladly gave me .00145 and 61% (minus $.25 per mile).
