    I used TMV to look up the invoice for a 2019 RX 450h Fsport in 92782 and it's roughly $57000 including 1025 documentation fee. A dealer that I was in contact of says the invoice is $59000...dealer not being straightforward or edmund's TMV's info is incorrect?

    $1025 is probably destination, not documentation.

    Dealers have regional advertising on their invoice.

    But, in any instance, the dealer's invoice probably doesn't reflect their final cost. If you are negotiating from invoice up, then invoice is whatever the dealer says it is. Make your offers in US Dollars. Introducing "invoice" to the conversation just gives the dealer another way to hide the pea.

    The whole point of looking up TMV is to see what others are paying. (the TMV price, not the invoice). You want the lowest price you can get, no matter what the invoice says or doesn't say.

    It was their counter to my 9% off MSRP request - so yeah, they weren't giving in, yet. It is 9 MSDs.

    Do dealers typically go at or near their MF? I thought since the money factor is .00095 if I asked for .001 that it would be reasonable...same with 9% off MSRP versus 10%...I'm in sales, I get that everyone wants to "win". :)

    With 9 security deposits, your money factor would be .00023, with the base rate.

    I've done 15 leases, and never paid a money factor markup. Your being sympathetic to sales people is costing you money.

    This is 7.5% off MSRP, $0 CAC, 9 MSDs, MF at base (.00023) - $647.09/mo for 36 months, 12K miles.

    His statement with the quote - "I spoke to my GSM again today and they will do this deal(below) but that is us all in and if you decide to do it please let me know so I can reserve the Grey RX450h because we only have the one."

    Yes, correct. I pay $5,850 (9 MSDs) and they apply the Lexus lease cash ($1,750) to make up the $7,600 cash@signature and cash@driveoff.

    I think we are going to do it. BTW - thank you very much for your feedback, that helps me feel better about compromising.

    EDIT: they took the fees, taxes, and first month and capped it - subtracted the $1,750 lease cash - and that's the adj cap cost - so it's true $0 CAC.

    Yes. I am guessing the $100 is a fee for their internal processing. If I ask about it maybe they'll get rid of it.

    Hello , The dealer states the lowest Money factor with 9MSD is reduced from 0.0015 to 0.0013. I was told i cannot negotiate the money factor, that is set by Lexus financial. Is that true?

    The dealer can mark up the MF, before applying the MSD discounts. Tell the dealer you won't sign a contract unless you start with the base MF.

    The total MF discount would be .00072 with 9 MSDs
