    I'd also ask to restructure the deal and include the bank and dealer fee into the monthly payment; this will lower the up front costs but inflates the monthly payment.

    If they give you a screenshot of the deal, it should all become clear.
    Pay close attention to the Adjusted CAP cost. Your assumption is that it is the same as the selling price, but that may not be the case. (also, a chance they didn't use the .00145 MF)

    So here an update on the deal I’m working on. So far I’ve negotiated to bring the selling price of the car down (not quite where I want to be but working on it). I got the sales manager to send me a screen shot of the deal.

    It showed the following:

    The rest of the fields in the screenshot were empty as far as I can see. Just don’t understand why I get $598/mo (including tax) with the same exact information when I calculate it. Let me know what you guys think!

    Was shooting for a payment sub $600/mo with little out of pocket.
    There may be an option for MSD but the dealer is less familiar with this.

    Preowned, as in sold, titled and traded back in to the dealer?

    If yes, then we do not have CPO lease program information.

    If this is a dealer demo or service loaner, the new car rates will apply, less an adjustment for the existing miles.
