Hi, I posted last week about my ongoing negotiation with a dealer. I am still working on the deal structure but wanted to confirm that the base MF for my region of 0.00025 is correct. Details of present offer are as follows:

MSRP: 67,000
Savings: -6,020 (~9%)
Adj Price: 60,980
Lease Cash: -4,750
Net Price: 56,230 (~16%)

4K down includes first month, net cap cost reduction of 2,629, registration fees, and aggregate taxes (10%).

At: 40% residual/15,000 miles/42 months//0.00075 money factor/4,000 down, they're estimating a payment of $792/month.

Current Adj Price discount (before rebate) is ~9%. Per the forum's advice, I am going to insist on base money factor. If anyone has any suggestions on what a ballpark reasonable ask is in terms of an Adj Price discount (or alternatively can point out that we're already there at ~9%), I would appreciate it.

PA taxes the monthly payment. Any tax upfront is just on upfront items (like CAP reduction)

With the $2000 Audi-to-dealer incentive, your effective discount is $4020. (exactly 6%).
That's typical for Audi, but not great, this late into the model year.
Coupled with the marked up money factor, not a great deal.

With an adjusted CAP cost of $54,500, $720/mo+tax. That is dead on their quote.
The money factor markup adds $40/mo.+tax

I have negotiated a great deal on a 3.0 premium plus MSRP 70060 - Discount 11105. 5500 Lease incentive and 2500 marketing allowance. 3/39 Zero down 703 per month. Only issue is MF they are only giving me .00047 instead of .00005, which would make the deal 660 per month. his includes sales tax we are at 6.5%. Any talking points to get the MF corrected to .00005, they agree that it is correct but tell me it is .00047 for this deal.

Probably have to give back some of the discount to get the base MF.

You should engage with a second dealer, and get them to compete to earn your business.

The car looking at has an MSRP $67,000. I negotiated down to $55,769. This is with a savings = $6,481 and rebate = $4,750. cash down is 4,495.00. The monthly quoted @36 = $680.00 and @ 39 = $667.15

The monthly don't sound correct (not in my favor) based on the $55,769 Cap Cost but I do not know the RVand MV they used to determine. I am also seeing a sales tax showing $2,427.03 and that also does not make sense. the sales tax in PA is 6%

With $4495 upfront, your adjusted CAP cost won't be $55769. It should be lower

PA has an extra 3% sales tax on leases, so the monthly payment will be taxed at a 9% rate. The sales tax number you see is for the total sales tax collected, even though it's collected on the monthly payment. The $2427 is just an informational number, not added to the CAP.

With the $2000 dealer incentive, $4481 additional dealer discount is just average on a $67K MSRP.

Ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and the money factor used. I'll guess they are marking up the money factor.

That isn't a very good deal. Also, I wouldn't start a lease with $4495 upfront.
Just 1st payment, plus DMV/doc fees and upfront tax on the rebate (Around $1500)

No, going to 39 months is not adding your payments to the end of the lease. When you lease for 39 months vs. 36 months, you get to use the car for three more months.
However, if you make a deal, you should make sure that Audi is actually waiving the payments, and that you aren't getting a worse deal, because the dealer is eating them.

Seems doubtful that a 2020 model will have a lower payment.

Checking to see if there may have been any changes for a lease now that we're in Dec. I'm looking at a 2019 A6 Premium Plus, 2.0, 39 month, 10k mi. Zip: 06840. I'm wondering if Audi has provided any further incentives for the dealers.

As an aside, the 44% residual seems low (not arguing that it's correct). I'm in a 2017 A6, 2.0 and the residual at the time of the lease was mid 50% range. Does this seem accurate? Assuming so, any thoughts on why there would be such a large drop?
