    Thank you for this! Just had the dealership tell me that .00060 is the buy rate, and the lease rate is .00160. Is that correct? Any help would be appreciated.

    The dealer is correct, but they are simply marking up the MF for more money from your pocket.

    "I won't sign any deal unless I get the base MF" is your response.

    New to this forum. Looking for a 2019 Tiguan SEL 4 Motion lease at 36/10. Really want an R-Line but this dealer in Jersey says they don't have the package. Thoughts on deal?

    I would get a full breakdown of the $3500, and whether the taxes are for NY or NJ. If NY, pay them up front with the first payment and registration costs, and roll the fees into the monthly payment.

    Here is the deal from the out of state dealer. Still waiting on the other dealer to give me a breakdown on taxes and fees:

    MSRP: $37,020

    Sale Price: $32,831

    Processing Fee: $699

    Acquisition Fee: $675

    NY Tag/Title: $359.50

    NY Tax: $1,471.80

    Total out of pocket: $3,838.37

    RV: $19,990.80 (54% of MSRP)

    MF: 0.00060 (assuming tier 1 credit)

    MP: $352.91

    I'm not sure I understand how they came up with the total out of pocket? When I add the fees, taxes and first month it doesn't add up. Either way this seems good, no? Not sure if it matters but the dealer is in 20166 and I'm NYC

    I agree..the Due at Signing is $280 too high. Probably some fee/charge/garbage option that they left off the list.

    Or, they used the extra for CAP cost reduction. What is the term and mileage allowance?
